Whoever that host is in the evening hour on 790 has his head 90 feet up his ***. Hugely disrespectful to the guy who always has the report first and accurate. What a frickin blowhard

Basically seemed to belittle him, as far as I could tell. I recall him saying something to the effect of "you'll never get this kind of forum again" for his commentary, ect. Ya'll can take a listen a judge for yourself.

Yep that's exactly how he treated him. It was Ethan Skolnick that he was on with. Also Josh Wittingham, but Ethan was the one giving the backhanded compliments.

Listening again. Think I misinterpreted the opening segment a bit. The second guy who talked was still a total d!ck but the primary host was legit cool and even seemed ****ed at the "never have this platform again, ever" comment. Then "your 30 seconds are up that's all the time I'm giving you" came from the guy who is clearly trying too hard to be the edgy color commentary dude. *** hat.

Either way Pete handled himself well.
 
I don't know what Pete's plans are, but Pete put himself on the map after today. He runs the sight that just broke the biggest coaching hire in Miami football and got credited by ESPN because of it. Props Pete.
 
I believe them saying you'll never have this opportunity again was to talk about the Knicks. Not talking about him never having a chance to get his word out into the public again
