I'd have taken him over Coker, Shannon, and Golden, but not over Richt. We might have lost some head scratchers with him as head coach, or the evil genius might have scored 70 on everyone with the talent he'd have at Miami. Either scenario would be better than what we ended up with.

3:15 mark. I've been waiting to see our offense run a play like that for like 10 years now.

Sweet baby Jesus....A SHALLOW ******* CROSS.

I'm there with you man, I've been yelling for more slants and shallow crosses for the last 10 years. We've been straight up ignoring the middle of the field for the last decade.

It should've been Leach as the HC/OC, and Shannon as the DC. We would've put up Playstation numbers on everybody. :K9yuNiP:

Oregon State gave up 58 pts to Colorado State, narrowly beat freaking Portland State 35-32, and gave up 48 to Minnesota. Forgive me if I don't get a hard-on for da Pirate putting up 52 on that piece of gahbage D.

Lmao @ people thinking Leach would be able to get top notch talent in South Fla.

You guys like him for political reasons, not Football.

He runs a gimmick Offense that's successful against weak comp, you can't extrapolate that out to ACC Defenses.

This dude is a full blown nutcase & wouldn't last at a major program like Miami, he's a small pond Coach, perfect fit for the team's he's been at.

Of course yall would take him over Coker/Shannon & Folden, they're literally the 3 worst coaches in school history, we would've taken just about anybody over them.

Being a better Coach than Folden, is like being a grown man bragging about being able to beat up a 5th grader, it's not that impressive.

You can not deny there would be top notch QBs and WRs wanting to play for him at UM. You also have to admit that the pure talent he'd get at UM would be far better than what he can attract at WSU. We will never know, but I don't think it's a big limb to go out on saying South Florida WRs would love playing in his system. Why wouldn't they?

I can deny it because there's no basis in reality for it, just speculation from his Miami fanbase.

He's good at taking underrated players that aren't highly sought after & maximizing their productivity.

He's not landing big time recruits because he's not a recruiter, he's purely a lab tech OC, he would struggle mightily trying to recruit 4/5-star players in South Fla because crootin' isn't just X's & O's.

The common mistake people make is to see success at small programs & assume it would work at a major school, in theory it should, but in reality that's not always the case.

His scheme isn't even all that difficult to figure out, **** Larry Scott & Foley almost beat him if it wasn't for a Halfback pass in the snow lol.

So you think the talent level he'd draw at Miami would be the same as WSU? Dear God, if Al Golden can get decent talent in.....

When has Leach ever pulled in big time talent at any program he's been at?

He got Crabtree because Texas wanted him to play DB & he wasn't interested, other than that who's the elite WR or QB Leach has produced?

You assume he would pull top level talent in Miami, but he's never been known as a recruiter, so what would be different than any other place he's been?

Folden missed waaaaay more than he hit, people act like Folden killed it in recruiting when he clearly didn't, all Folden ever did was miss & **** things up. **** our recruiting is still struggling to this very day because of him.

Leach wouldn't have landed anybody that Folden couldn't, and we know that because South Fla crootin' is a completely different animal than anything he's ever had to deal with before.

Trust me, he wouldn't last in Miami, especially as a HC.

Had we hired Leach instead of Golden the outcome would have been the same. Leach would have been fired. Can't win if you don't play Defense.

The pirate is a CARNIVAL act He does not remain in a place too long before his "ACT" get tired and he reverts to his normal losing ways. You sir have a lot to learn when it comes to football.

You are 1000% wrong. You are a certifiable idiot.

Whatever his defects, he would have been hanging 80 points on everyone if he had come to the U.

"**** we could've hired the pirate. But they say... they say he wore some kind of Jimmy Buffett sandals to the interview or something. Can you imagine a stadium full of drunk pirates?" One of my favorite lines.
