Are you kidding me???

No Miami coach gets fired 2.5 seasons in. Athletic Directors are not so safe…

Woman* lol. But I need to see it to believe it. We are in year 3 of the same old crap. When is LT going to play? D. Johnson hasn’t done a **** thing and he’s still getting plenty of snaps while Taylor is sitting on the bench. I want Manny to be successful, but I have no faith. Would love to be proven wrong.
I understand your concern but you just used two players who play two different positions.

IIRC, Cribby said to start, LT would get some snaps at DE.

Either way, Robert should get more snaps. LT should as well, whether from Johnson or the DTs.

I would like to see Robert’s. I think Taylor is 305. Even Bamas DEs in their 3-4 aren’t that big.

In Johnsons defense he’s been out awhile, I was actually surprised he went as hard as he did. He played well considering. I still think a de is a possibility. LT will add depth there too when he arrives , the plan is to start him outside.
Here it is. This is where I got LT playing DE from. Now, thing could have changed since, but I my comment was based off what Cribby was told then.

We need to find a way to get LT and Roberts on the field more. Roberts had more of an impact yesterday than Johnson. I’ll give credit to the DTs, it was tough for MSUs RBs to run up the middle, but we need to see more.

Let him go, give lashlee the interim job, make TRob the DC job. Just do what is necessary. If you have to bring whoop out of the booth, but whatever you do let them sink or swim.

Get Diaz out. His D is literally the easiest thing in the world to pick apart. Every down you can look at his alignment, know what’s coming and just check to a basic play that will net you 3-5 yards.

The only risk is if they play really well under Lash then you almost have to give him the job. But I’d also think it would mean winning out. And that’s not happening VT and UNC are putting up 40-50 on this D.

In camp I said Elijah likely plays outside at de. The coaches talked LT up about starting his career outside to get him on the field , the depth wasn’t as deep there and he could help. It seemed like he was never down with it , and maybe why he was so determined to add weight . getting up to the 300’s. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but maybe that’s why he’s not getting burn , even though he was told he would.

Okay I see. Now that you said that, I do believe you mentioned that a few days ago as well. Either way, get the young man on the field. Why risk him being disgruntled and possibly transferring? (The Q isnt for you btw). If LTnis a good as we all hope and believe, he’s gone in 3 years, whether he RS or not. Just play him. Would also like to see BS more as well.

Thank for replying. Really appreciate the info you provide.
