Did you see what the 2003 offense was as soon as the talent left? It was straight cheeks.

I used to defend Chud on grassy. He was ok as OC, and I mean OK. It was a big challenge to draw up plays for Dorsey, Portis, Mcgahee, Dre, Shockey, and the best OL in school history!

And stop it you know plenty of coaches who have parlayed talent into jobs they weren't that good at. PLENTY

He didn't parley that into a Hc, it was an NFL TE's coach. He did that for like 4 years before getting an OC job. Then after 1 year fired from OC job back to TEs coach. Then he got back to OC job then got Hc job 1 what they canned and back to OC.

Again he was OK at Miami. I'm sure he improved as a coach throughout his NFL tenure.

But the writing was on the wall before. For someone who analyzes, such as yourself...that was a bad read. Dorsey has and will continue to have success. Will probably become a HC somewhere.

- the guy who called half the plays while at um as audibles on way to two titles (f osu)
- the guy who ran passing game and developed two stellar nfl qb’s
- the guy extremely likely to get an nfl oc job this offseason…

is somehow in question as a possible oc here…. Cause he didn’t officially call plays in the nfl yet, though kinda did…. In sense of teaching reads and audible checkdowns…
