0-1 DE…Don't pass on a big-timer, we may nab one who sees Bain and Mes go in the draft
1-2 LB…Depends on who stays here, at least 1
1 DB…Likely a nickle

1 OL…If Bell leaves…Maybe another center I'd guess but I'd like to see Rodriguez, Nico, or SJ seize that job.
0-1 TE… I'd jus like to unleash Schott/Gilbert honestly
1 WR…2 if Trader leaves(I'd expect at least 1 if not both of Ray Ray and Carr to leave)

1 QB… Sure I'd like one of the top 2-3 again, but if Nickel can win the job, then you take an experienced backup.
0-1 1 RB…Only if we lose 2…I'm counting on us losing 1…Either Fletch or if Fletch stays then one of the others go. But if 2 go, then portal 1.

I'd think 7-9 portal guys depending on what we lose, instead of the 12 or so we brought in this year.
 
Besides the portal, their are several commits to LSU I go after. We can beat their NIL offers. I would definitely go after the top OOS commits, like Henderson, Finney and Layfayette. The one I go all out for is DT Richard Anderson. I think he's the best DT in the class. Exactly what we need. Get him and and push someone else out. Odds are tough at Edna Carr, but let them keep Lamar Brown on campus. Over pay for Anderson. He's well built for 355.

It’s going to be interesting how this shakes out but having our NIL and coaching stability and we could possibly take serious advantage of the current state of college football.

i want about 10 a year.

we gonna lose 3 wrs at minimum just to portal.

before the szn didnt think we needed a center. I now think we gonna need one again because i dont see that starter on the team.And its a huge importance if dawson is o and we gonna duo ppl to death regardless of fronts and line blitzes. Markell Bell is NOT staying. Size and tape is gonna check out for him he is a mid rounder at worst. SO CENTER AND AN OT. cantwell will play some though if not injured.

Need a vet EDGE AND A DT.

I think 8-11 is about the right number.

As for center, you don't think RRod can step in and do it?

Agree on RB - unless Lyle portals, I think we're in decent shape as long as nobody portals.

We'll need a portal OL for a starter and depending on how our coaches like our guys, maybe one for depth.

Need a stud WR......again and probably some depth depending on how guys like Chance, Carr, Upshaw progress.

Need a TE unless Schott/Gilbert take the next step. Probably not so I can see us adding a dude for depth.

DL - we'll need 3-4 imo.

LB - Might need 2. I don't know that Bonner is the answer and we'll lose 4 guys (Toure, Wes, Chase, Alderman).

DB - I know people keep talking Safety, but I really like Day to replace Brown. Maybe one for depth.

no on SJ...Pancake im liking his progression...Were about to lose two tackles. I like bringing in elite comp at that spot is all.

If they feel rodriguez is the vet that can do it (i think they very well may believe this) at center then just grab one of the best ol in the portal regardless of position. Im saying this because Mccoy is gonna be a starter but he has been up n down this year so far. We losing 4 off that ol in my opinion.

RR is a senior, I am pretty sure, and McCoy and Okunlola have been playing before him anyway.

Ya i don’t have a major gripe really w any of that

I’m just saying at some point you gotta develop. Brockmeyer is all types of average. If you can’t get his floor or egen a little better then wtf are we recruiting out of hs… r-rod, sj with another yr under his belt, franco with another yesr under his beltz… none of these are ever gonna start?

Basically i’m factoring in this besides obvious seniors and bain and maui

1- qb transferring
1- rb pro OR tranferrint
2- wr portlaling out
2-ol, including bell leaving… if none of these guys are strters then i can’t see them all staying… i see a plazz, franco, or campbell, etc. someone bailing. Maybe more but i’m factoring 1+ bell

1-dt. Hopefully not kiten
1- de, likely bryant
1- lb… Obv we lose 3 seniors. So i’m aying either chase doesn’t come back for yr 6 or bw bails. And who know this could be more
2- db… again not counting seniors… so basically i’m thinking 1 of our top 4 corner take some money somewhere + richards or mack

And then we work from there. Obv could lose more db, obv could lose a te… but this or close to it happens then i see

1- dt

Ya that's what I think they'll do…BC right now I believe Oku is listed as 1st backup at both LG and Lt? So I have no idea if he'll start at a guard or at LT? So basically I think you go get as good at the other position he doesn't start at as you can, splurge if needed… And of course Cantwell, maybe even Ervin in the mix

My guess is this

LT Oku or portal- Ervin or Cantwell
LG Oku or portal- Buchanon
C R-Rod- Sj or Nino
RG McCoy- Minaya
RT All out comp…Kinsler or Cantwell or Plazz or Wilk

Good Portal Player:
