Are we on record breaking watch for Malachi next season

The records will come. Right now it’s the intangibles. Opponents have to game plan around him whether he gets the ball or not. Someone is getting open or unblocked strictly because he’s on the field.

Related question - do Toney and Barkate have less production this year because we end up spreading the ball around to all our weapons?

And then break all the records his junior year.

Anybody know what his NFL prospects look like? He's an elite college player..does his game translate to the NFL as well where he'll be a 1st rounder?
Still tbd, idk if he’s done growing. Id say if he improves his long speed it would raise his ceiling alot

Only reason I ask that question is because if he's not a 1st rounder we could end up getting him for 4 years. If that's the case, he'll probably be the all time record holder for all receiving records at Miami for a LOOOOONG time.

I don’t think he gets to 80 catches or 900 yards in 13 games. If we play 16, he will.

Barkate should be 50+/600+

Somebody else will be 30-40/500+

Should be much closer to 2024 WR splits than all Mali. And honestly when we don’t need him we shouldn’t be force feeding him. He’s gotta stay healthy and fresh for a playoff run. He shouldn’t play in a 4th quarter until Clemson.

I think he breaks receptions early junior year and end of junior year you see him near the yards. We'll see how people play him with more help this year out wide
