The offseason is what interests me. If Richt do like Golden did and stay hard headed with No D, Next season will be a disaster and by midseason this place will be on fire, a dumpster fire. After 3 offseasons this offense need to be revamped. Sorry with the talent we have should not be so bad on offense. We need to bring a west coast offense if we are gonna stay in a pro set. But whatever we go to it must be a quick pass offense. I done walked back from the ledge. Here is my thought. We thought fixing the defense from Golden would help us challenge for titles. We now have the #1 defense and we are far from challenging. I hope they fix this offense because i hate changing and chopping.

What that stat doesn't reveal is his record against D1 teams. The guys are upset because we love The U and in our hearts and wisdom we have no confidence in CMR as HC/OC. The right thing would be for him to step aside as OC, become a manager and bring in an young exciting OC and let him bring his people in the teach it.

We aren't even close to that talent - depth yet . Not even close . you see that now withal these freshman playing this year . Appreciate that Miami is heading into the right direction. We have a descent HC and Great D!! but hey we can always go back to RANDY SHANNON , AND AL GOLDEN AND there elite staffs they brought along .. cause Miami was way better and contending year in and year out . Short term memory ...

Most of the porsters on here never put on a jock strap or played the game past youth league or high school. Their depth of expertise comes from Madden or Fantasy Football, and that's why they generally don't understand how an actual football season plays out, the things you can control during a season and the things you have to wait to fix on the off season - because you don't have the tools in the box. But the Defense will gve us shot after shot if we can find some momentum again on O.

By your logic, we just needed to give Randy and Golden more time.

I don't see anyone suggesting we go back to Shannon or Golden, so there goes straw man argument #1.

Straw man argument #2 is that we just don't have the talent or the depth yet... to beat Virginia.

It's not that we lost but how are we looking like in those loses.cmrs offensive game plan isn't working and he keeps calling same plays same formations.if we didn't have talent we can live with that but that's not the case.if oline can't power block then he needs to adjust his playbook and find a way to get the ball to the weapons in space let the talent of these weapons manifest itself on the field.you can do other things to run that helps your oline out until it gets to the point it can do what cmr wants it to.you see it happening every Saturday and on Sunday where coaches gamelan around a suspect oline.

Yeah kinda. But then again, he lost to UVA and PITT, and not-better-than-us LSU and Wisconsin. Same for Wisconsin. Bottom line is that if our offense doesn't get fixed this is a Clappy situation...it'll keep getting worse until that win % doesn't look so hot anymore.

When I was 18, my sanctioned bowling average was 235. Back then that was good enough to be a very good pro bowler. My problem was that I always bowled between 230 and 240, never 270, 280, 265 set and later a couple 210 games. To win money, you need to rise up at end and spring the strikes for bigs games. I never had a open frame but rarely got 3 or more strikes in a row. That is mark’s problem, he has the same record every year without ever having a big enough one to win title.

We are all pretty pist because, when we got rid of Golden our defense was our main problem. We hired this coach which was supposed to be an offensive mind and our defense has turn around in 2.5 years but out offense have regress to the point that I’m missing Golden’s offense
