Are we just going to keep crying all week or what ?

I had to look up Richt's record here to make sure I wasnt missing something and he had gone 0-31.

I don't think now is the time to cry, because there is still an opportunity for Richt to turn this season around. Now, you may not believe that he will (I definitely have my doubts), but it seems pointless to b*tch and moan until we've seen how the team reacts coming out of the bye week.

These two weeks are the make-or-break period for the season. If the team (and that includes coaches) goes into the second half of the season with a new intensity, we may see them win 10 regular season games, go back to the ACC championship, and win a bowl game. That would be objective improvement. However, if they keep tripping over their own d*cks, we may see them regress as compared to last year. If that happens, then it's the time to cry.

I'm skeptical, but I'll be watching to see how the season plays out. If the team does the unlikely and turns this thing around, I don't want to be the one that was crying midway through the year.

Our current HBC has won 24 of the 33 games he's coached here. Let that sink in for a minute. That's a .727 winning %. But hey, let's fire the guy because he sucks.
Same thing UGA said for 15 years. Problem is, he doesn't win ones that matter and loses ones he never should.

16-9 against P5 opponents. That's a 64% winning percentage against real competition. Good enough for you?

VT last year didnt matter?
ND last year didnt matter?
FSU last year didnt matter?
FSU this year didnt matter?
WVU bowl game didnt matter?

Upset loss coming into a bye week has a tendency to bring about a negative turn.

That said, The Canes will get back on track with a 15 point win at BC before spanking the dookies at Hard Rock for a night game. Perry and Rosies will both play well.

Re make this post when he wins a conference championship or a major bowl game, those are games that matter.
