too bad both are in transition years!!

STA really doesnt have transition years much. This is like over 30 years in the making at that school. Their down years they still likely have 10-15 div 1 level players on the roster in different classes. This coming season they have some big timers....way more than BTW will have. Sta might be the only school in s.fla that has back up/2nd team players routinely sin div 1/div 1 -aa schollies..they had a few my sr year...who didnt start and signed div 1.

This isnt their first time playing BTW i dont think..but its usually on the others down year....i think they played when Davon Johnson and them were at BTW.

Should be a good one. I will never count out BTW. They always got guys ready to step up.

Don't remember that. I know that they lost to both Chaminade and Plant, with Davon Johnson on the team.

One of Booker T's starting LB's has transferred to Hallandale. 2016 kid

2016 RB from Coral Reef has transferred to Booker T. Ran for almost 1000 yards last year at Reef.

That kid from Coral Reef is good! Best RB I faced last season IMO. We couldn't tackle him in a phone booth.

I think you mean Chaminade. They played back to back years when that 08' miami class were juniors.

Okay got it. I knew they palyed either chaminade or sta.

STA proably rolls them this year though. The structure change with Ice/Ice Jr being gone its a true transition year.....sta pretty much reloads, not transition. And if they got Harriot there recruiting efforts probably just reved up as if they need it, kids want to go to sta regardless.

Yup. I don't remember St. Thomas ever having a meh year. Booker T. dropped off during Ice sr. first leave. I remember sitting at Traz Powell for the Nike Classic watching them get blown out by Chandler Hamilton, Ariz. (nationally respected) in their opener. Terrible day for South Florida Football.
