Apparently Kelly Golden wants Al out of Miami ASAP.

The private school community in Miami is small. My wife and Golden's wife have been in the same circle of friends for the last couple of years.

All I'll say is this...you shouldn't be getting excited over the OP's post. I can tell you for a fact Golden's wife has been hating it down here for a WHILE and it didn't stop Golden from coming back this season on the heels of a 7 loss debacle.

They're not going to just sacrifice the buyout. This is all on Blake and the inept administration. For as much as they don't like it down here they're not just going to get up and go at this point. It's a game of chicken that our cheap, apathetic, and incompetent administration are willing to play regardless of how much damage it continues to do to the program.

This is exactly why I've been rooting for losses for MORE than a year now. The only way these ******** will act is if they're hand is forced.

Seriously, would any of you really be surprised if this is true? She has to watch banners on a weekly basis telling UM to fire her husband. She has to see shirts at FSU saying "Keep Al Golden". The dude is probably never home as is hated by most of the fans. It's probably brutal for her too - I'm sure people say stuff to her as well. I'm not defending him, but that has to be an absolute nightmare.

It's pretty well established the family wants to go back up North, but you don't walk away from 2.5m a year. Especially when nobody is going to come calling anytime soon.

Exactly.

The fact of the matter is Golden's wife has been disenchanted with this town going back to the beginning/middle of last season. This is not news....all the real estate agents and upset wives in the world aren't going to cause the man to walk away from a nice chunk of change especially when you consider his next job will either be at a much smaller school or he's going to have to take a step back and be a coordinator.

He's a horrible coach. I'd also argue he's a scumbag and a piece of **** that has zero accountability...with that said he's not the real enemy at this point. It's time to point every finger at the administration...the fact this **** show is being allowed to continue is just one big "**** You" to the fanbase.

She'll go along for a while, but women don't handle misery for extended periods of time. They bottle up a lot of stuff, and when it blows - it's a force of nature.
 
Imagine having to live with golden. I wonder if he walks around the house all day quoting self help books to his family.

If anything she has my deepest sympathies.
