Head injury. I think.

Anyway, there's nothing in my statement that absolves the previous guys of doing damage whatsoever.

But seeing as we're commenting on a comment made in the present referring to next season and players recruited by Richt, it only makes sense to assign some blame to the head coach of said university who was just retired.

What do Coker, Randy, or Al have to do w Pope, Lingard, and Hightower?

How about both? Because that's what Babers would bring to Miami. He'll take the top talent the last staff brought in and turn them into playoff contenders. ... I love Butch. But Babers is the guy we need right now.

I have no problem with him. I just don't know all that much about him. But what I do know looks pretty good to me - miles better than Richt, anyway. I wouldn't complain about that hire.

Strongly disagree. Obviously, this season has hurt our brand, but it's nowhere near the depths of the Shannon/Golden years. Just a year ago we were in the national conversation & our brand was extremely strong (the turnover chain was being featured on ESPN like every 45 seconds). It's not great right now, but we're better off than we were 3 years ago. Bring a legit coach in and our brand can be repaired in no time.

I feel you, but Duke talked **** to us on our field as they beat us.

Duke!

We played in the Pinstripe Bowl after we promoted a bartender and grad assistant to DC. We signed 1 WR (a great one admiteddly) and he wasn't even from down here. We got embarrassed on national TV every time we got up there **** near. We had commits decommit from us to sign w Syracuse, and other recruits picking Minnesota over us.

WE know we're only 1 good HC away from a quick snap back. The rest of the nation would argue Oregon is a better job than Miami.
