App state vs TAMU

App St. shows how important it is to be able to run the football and control the clock in a hostile environment on the road.
THIS

I know our passing attack ain’t quite there yet, but we need our ground attack to be our strength in order to have a shot at a 10-win season.

You’ve got to be able to run the football.

They u****ing suck, they were overrated, AM isnt some juggernaut, they go 8-4 alot.. Was hoping we could get that high ranked team love like UF got, beat an overrated team early before they fold.. App st smacked them and took luster off our game..
They suck because of Jimbo and his coaching staff. They have the talent. It's what makes Saban, Dabo, and Smart a cut above all the other coaches in the FBS. They typically figure a way to get their entitled 5 stars to play each week whoever is the opponent.

Miami will get their best effort next Saturday as it will be a nationally televised night game and they got their asses embarrassed today. I hope I'm wrong and they play like crap again next week, but I don't see that being the case.

When A&M looks like *** in this game, our fans will say "but they'll be better next week"...... But our same "fans" that were harsh on us today will assume we dont improve going into next week either
Because they will be better, we won't.

This is the revenge if reality

They just gave JimBob a $90 million extension and he has a worse record than Sumlin through 50 games. Losing to App State at home with that much money on the table isn’t something you get over quickly. A lot of wallets probably going back in their pockets down in College Station.

if we beat them and they are 1-2, they are going to get obliterated by the college football community after spending that much on recruiting and having these results

A&M has lost their last 3 games against FBS opponents, 2 of those 3 have been unranked

The gap between G5 and P5 is probably closer then it's ever been. The transfer portal is spreading the talent out more evenly. Back in the day a G5 rarely ever beat a ranked P5 team and now it happens all the time. Sure there are the upper echelon Top 10 teams or so who dominate regardless but for the rest it's open season.

YUP!!!

If I was TAMU, I'd give Jimbo an ultimatum...hire a legit OC to our liking, or kick rocks.
Have you seen his contact? That isn’t happening.

A&M is spending lots of money into recruiting and other resources. Got to wonder if eventually their boosters realize these are bad investments.
