Maybe 1 - 2k of the students even show up for games. A&M probably has 25k students at the game.Miami has 17k including grad. Undergrad is around 12….
yup. its why the closer to campus argument is dumb. we dont rely on students for our attendance. its about the area fans that make up the fanbase for UMMaybe 1 - 2k of the students even show up for games. A&M probably has 25k students at the game.
well hes not the most innovative offensive mind either. well both run 20 min drives for 40 yards till we punt each other to death next week (I kid)The great Jimbo Fisher only has 100 yards against this garbage *** defense![]()
There was about 50 kids in the student section todayand people dont go to UM to watch football. they're there bc its miami
If you’re in the area you’re probably also a Dolphins fan. You probably have the time and money for one game in a weekend. Going to see Miami vs Southern Miss or Miami vs the New England Patriots? Very few teams in the nation face direct local competitionyup. its why the closer to campus argument is dumb. we dont rely on students for our attendance. its about the area fans that make up the fanbase for UM
Advantage tatted Aussiewell hes not the most innovative offensive mind either. well both run 20 min drives for 40 yards till we punt each other to death next week (I kid)
yup. straight empty. look, even in the OB we weren't getting kids out there for noon against a no name. it isnt gonna happen lolThere was about 50 kids in the student section today
It’s not about the students. It’s about being in the heart of Miami-Dade, instead of nearly in broward.yup. its why the closer to campus argument is dumb. we dont rely on students for our attendance. its about the area fans that make up the fanbase for UM
I mean if the bulk of your fans come from all three counties, wouldn't it be smart to have a home centrally located since thats where your fans are? now idc about driving to wherever it is but im just saying lol. being in the heart of miami dade (tech tropical park is southwest dade not the heart of Miami dade either that was the OB) means nothing if your fans come from all over. either way, we are what we areIt’s not about the students. It’s about being in the heart of Miami-Dade, instead of nearly in broward.
Im sure it would be accessible to plenty of fans still if we built a stadium in west palm beach instead but that would be retarded wouldn’t it.
I just have nightmares of him ******* murdering us with the RB screen. He pulled that out whenever he needed a big play and we never, ever stopped it.well hes not the most innovative offensive mind either. well both run 20 min drives for 40 yards till we punt each other to death next week (I kid)
There isn't a Texas HS with 10-12k students, FYI.What else is there to do in College Station? Lol. Miami also is a private school with less students than most Texas high schools. Miami fans are comprised of the city with very few of them being students or alum. It’s opposite for most schools. But when they play night big games… they’ll be alright.
Compare college football to international soccer is apples to oranges. Soccer is the number 1 sport in world, and the most popular sport in most countries not named united states. There's quite a lot to do in London and Manchester too, but those teams seem to sell out every week.
At the end of the day you just have to accept that there's a small hardcore of Miami fans and a lot of fair weather ones. It it what it is. Being a private school doesn't help with that either.
I think everybody forgets that app State is not 1-AA anymore like they were when they upset Michigan. Solid football program that would be in the middle of major conferences.App St is a **** good football program. They will compete and give A&M problems
