The App State folks are trying to make this disappear now that is it shown that they were lying. They even locked the thread on their board once Canes fans like daytonacane, NCCane, CF34, and Go Canes started rebutting their claims.

Miami vs. ASU Color Guard - Mountaineer Message Board

But since then there was some additional information pulled from Facebook from the accuser herself.

Her claim on local Boone TV was
Mariah Martin said she felt “a Miami football player shove into me and the rest of them surround me, and I felt pain and was out for the rest of the game.”

Yet on Facebook that day she said:
Mariah Martin-Eller They were just jerks, they were really physical without football team like head locks and stuff, the cheerleaders from their team harassed the Colorguard and the football team attempted to run me over during pre game.
September 17 at 9:42pm
(BTW, I think she means dreadlocks, might be the first time she has seen them.)

From "attempted to" to "shove into me and surround me"

Before she deletes her page (as liars are known to do) take a look.

https://www.facebook.com/mariah.a.martin

So, not only is there going to be no evidence on video, the event actually didn't happen, and she Ryan Lochte'ed this whole thing. She should be ashamed of what she did, but instead she just writes: "So can it all be over now? Is that cool with everyone."

If they had video evidence supporting them, would they want it to be all over now? I don't think so.

Fat ugly girls lie to get attention they otherwise dont get. Same as every other day.

What ****es me off is how ESPN ran with it a few days ago as a headline. And now, they put this article up:

Miami finds no mistreatment of Appalachian State color guard

This article is B.S. Mostly recites the allegations (again), and throws in there that we "could not confirm allegations" and "found no evidence of misconduct." Then after quoting the accuser saying she got a written apology from Blake James, they only say: "According to the Miami Herald, James did not say the letter was an apology."

They should have included his entire statement. Not to mention it's a joke that they felt the need to quote all the allegations again, given that they're clearly a bunch of crap at this point.

Whatever.

You're seriously going on an App State Board to check on this? Wtf...

Blake James is on record saying no apology was given. I believe his words were something to the point of "if she wants to think that was some type of apology, good for her. We're done with this story".

Apology letter, a cease and desist from court, they are so hard to tell apart sometime.

Too true. Their intimidation tactics alone have won us a couple National Championships

You linked the wrong page.. THIS is the girl that told the world that she was abused.

Note her photo on 6 September. She got a new "little" (little sister(?) in her sorority). Note something interesting about one of her littles?

Sven, that is not the girl who said she was abused. She was recounting the story of what happened to her friends.
