I don't understand why everyone thinks that this App state game is going to be close. If anyone honestly thinks that this game will be going down to the wire, you have no faith in this team.

If Miami does not dominate a team that recently joined the sun belt, why think we will win any game? how can people say "10 wins or bust" and we're saying app state is going to play us tough?

Florida state and Notre Dame gotta alot more talent than app state.

and for all of you saying Brad Kayya is an average qb, he needs work. all players have off days. deshaun Watson has had a tough first few games this year.
testeverde had what 4 intreceptions back in the day against penn state. Tom Brady against the Chiefs in 2014 played awful. Peyton manning has had some bad ones too.
so those qb's are "average" because they had an off day?
of course Brad needs work, even the best players need to improve

A logical comparison I have come up with for App State is Duke with talent, scheme, coaching, etc except Sirk is a better passer than their QB. We had Duke destroyed last year without Kaaya, and committed over 20 penalties, and we all know how it ended.

If we play clean football, we roll by 20 or more easily.

I think if we can get 2 or 3 more threads started about App State then we will win by 20.

We are rolling by the middle of the 2nd qtr. All cylinders will be clicking !! They have a nice 1st team, but a major drop off from there. Miami rolls by the 4th qtr, 45-10

Yawn.

I don't think we dominate them. I guess I'm not a "true" fan.

You clowns are clueless.

After rewatching the tenn game against them we can throw on them, there were a lot of holes in their secondary, that corner who i think his name was duck can play everyone else is suspect, i feel we will win throw the air with them

It's not our talent to outmatch them it's our offensive line. Yearby and mark are doing a **** of a job

i think our kids are tired of hearing about app st

Agreed. All the attention has been on app st. A lot of media is thinking that this will be a upset because of the tenn game. The entire coastal excluding Virginia woulda smashed tenn on that night. The vols didn't show up at all that night. Does anyone think we're not showing up?

Can't wait till Saturday

App State outplayed and wouldve beat TN on the road if not for a lucky fumble recovery.

Yet "fans" like OP think we should win by 40 points easy an anything else is a disappontment.

What a clown

BS. The "Vols didn't show up"? LOL ok

Ever consider App St, just maybe, might be a good team?

Why do you have to bring up the Testaverde game? **** man that game still hurts!!!! For real, this game should only be close if the OL doesn't do their job. If they struggle it will keep App St in the game. I don't exoect them to and I think we roll!

First game of the season, no one knows quite what they have. They know what they have returning and what they have on paper but practices and scrimmages can only tell you so much. I think if they play Tenn again it may not be so close IMO.

I'll be at the game and looking forward to it.

This game could very well be a dogfight. Not because I think App St has equal talent but more so due to its the first road game for a number of our players that we count on, i.e. Starters and I'm expecting these young pups to make a couple of mistakes. Also, this is the biggest home game in App St. history and college football has an emotion, energy, component that cannot be denied. UM has to match it from the onset or we will be in a fight. We've all seen it over the years. David vs Goliath. There's a reason the wise guys have this at -3.5 so I'm expecting a close game with UM pulling away in the 4th.

31-20 good guys.

the reason people think it could be tough is b/c of the atmosphere but that's such crap. the talent gap is ridiculously large, people need to stop kidding themselves. brother richt DOES NOT lose these kinds of game - look at his track record. also, i don't the people who are predicting this will be a hard game are the same ones saying 10 wins

When this offense works out out the kinks, then I believe people would stop being soft when it comes to these sneaky good teams. To think this team will not play us hard is just Ludacris, will that translate to a W? It's possible. But this will be Kaayas coming out party and we should blow them the *** out of the water to solidify that we aren't going to let these teams linger around, having hope in the second half. This game needs to be a statement game, let's go into their home and put the worst beating this team will have this year. I want this game over with in the 1st half and win by at least 3 touchdowns. If that happens then we should jump into the top 20 with GT and FSU around the corner. Can't wait.

Congrats people, we now have 1 more post about app than there will be about fsu heading into that game. Well done, love the enthusiasm.
