App State AD apologizes

I hope we don't cancel the series vs these guys. Let em come next yr, and don't let up when we're up 50. Run up the score and when it becomes a news story, point to this **** as the reason why.

It was a general and broad apology, so that everybody could feel like it was intended for them.

The rest of the statement read: "The University of Miami administration has been incredibly cooperative throughout the review process. We've investigated the concerns, and we've provided support to our students. We will continue to support our students and keep their safety as a top priority."

That bull**** about supporting their students was soft shouldered horse ****. While Miami gets the black eye in the media, I'm sure athletic departments around the country took notice. App State embarrassed itself through every step of this.

That devastating loss and the subsequent circus of *****-***-ness will return App State to its deserved irrelevance. Miami says "good riddance, haha, and you're welcome."

Really? See I'm looking forward to a proper dismantling of app. None of this 45-10 ****, I'm talking the kind of beating that makes you question the value of your very existence. I want them to not only wish they didn't play football, not only wish they were never born, but wish their ancestors had never come down from the trees.

It's crazy. I never gave a fvck about APp store before this whole thing.

Now they are on my top 5 most hated list.

I want them to come down in 2021 so we can beat the ever lovin dog schit outta them and rub their noses in it on the way to another NC

That was a weak apology. Did not address the fact that one of their students made completely false claims and tried to publicly defame a university. Whatever, back to irrelevance for App St.

This loss probably set them back 10 years. All it did was show every recruit watching or in attendance that they are nowhere near playing football with the big boys.

This whole fiasco hurt their athletic department a lot more than Miami's image. They were going to try to use the Miami game and to a lesser extent Wake Forrest, as a springboard to get more real teams to agree to play there. Unfortunately for them, their football team botched the game, their band director botched the band placement and the AD botched the handling of false accusations of sexual assault. Every other P5 AD in the nation is looking at this and sayin "F-that mess. I'm never agreeing to play in that hillbilly town ever." I hope they made a bunch of money playing sacrificial lamb to the Hurricanes this year because that type of big game is never coming back.

Besides getting screwed by another team like we did, I'm not sure why any legit teams would play there regardless of this matter.
 
This. And in that letter was no where an apology to UM. Your brand is everything, and App State came off like an NAIA school in how they've handled this.
