Never said I was content with it, I'm also not a coach or player or associated with the university so I don't think I have any control of how the games will be played or turn out.
 
Let's see what happens with a competent QB. I know you guys think this is all CMR's fault but he had a strong career before the Canes. There is no reason he can't be successful here but nobody can win with these QB's. It's not called magic fellas...it's called coaching.

Think about our string of coaches since Dennis Erickson. Really think about it. CMR is our best hire in forever.

Ya'll also called for Butch Davis head. While he was facing sanctions LMMFAO

Does any Cane fan have a memory longer than a couple weeks?

This defense is better than it was two years ago, I'm good man, just a Canes fan looking forward to hopefully a few wins here at the end of the year.

At this point, logical Miami fans knew were weren't going to beat Clemson, let alone Bama. A majority of this board would've been happy with another 10-win season with a better showing against Clemson to show we're in the right direction. There's a realistic chance (considering we go to GT and VT) that we don't even make a bowl game this season. That's something that even Al Golden at least managed - consistently have bowl eligible teams which isn't that hard to do at Miami. But in year 3, in November we're questioning if we'll make a bowl game. That should be a fireable offense on the spot.

As far as next year, Richt needs to make wholesale changes to his offensive staff and his role going forward. If he wants to go call plays, go be an OC somewhere, so then he can get fired. I'm fine with Diaz having autonomy given that his unit actually produces.

What has Richt done this year that makes you believe he is a good coach? He's 2-7 in his last 9 games vs P5 teams. He has been outcoached by numerous teams this year that all had less talent than Miami besides LSU. He's finished. He's done. He's going to do more damage to this program if he is allowed to stay in his current role.

Where do you see the two wins. This team will not win another game this year. Scoring 2 TDs a game will not cut it in today’s game.

I definitely agree with that last part of your post.
 
At this point, the only concern is getting ready for the first game next year. I want to see Perry and Williams from this point forward. We need to find out which QB is the future. I don’t give a rats *** about wins and losses.
 
For those who complain about "overdramatics,"

1) Name the games we win to get to 7 wins this year.
2) Our record 2006 to the present is 95-67. That is essentially exactly 7-5 a year. You might back into a conference title game once a decade by going 7-5 every year.
3) Are #1 and #2 acceptable to you?

Its not just a competent QB.

Where is the o line development?
Where is the DT recruiting....depth is horrendous looking ahead.
Staff said they would not recruit a QB this year......seriously....but hopefully that changes.
Why do we here excuses?
Why are our special teams so bad?

Did you just wake up? If by a miracle, all the deficiencies disappear overnight, and that opponent has a brain fart of a game (highly unlikely when playing theU), perhaps one more game. This is a bonafide 5-7 season.

This is a huge issue of "reality". Everyone here probably wants to see the QB situation better resolved and faster, and starting the young'uns for gametime seasoning is a big right step.

But Richt and staff, "for the team", "for the fans", for the bonuses, for the staff, BOT, coaching resume, whatever, probably want to get to a Bowl Game THIS YEAR more than they want to solve the QB dilemma...

...and we know what that likely means: Richt will start "whomever gives us the best chance of winning". It would not surprise me to see him back with Rosier, just for that logic and these reasons. ****, I'm getting angry again.
 
If UM doesn't go to a Bowl with the schedule we have, and the Talent on this team, Richt needs to be relieved of his Duties....Lol at paying this overrated MFer 4+ Million a yr....and can't coach a team too 6 MFing Wins in the ACC Coastal...
