Defense is being hyped up as one of the best in the Nation. Best in the conference for sure.
So factoring in that most teams in the top 10 don't play much defense anymore that alone could be worthy of top 5.

That said, if their QB does not improve as you alluded to they will lose games they shouldn't again.

his path to rehabilitation is peaking. if he does a decent job as DC at ND, which i hope he doesn't, he'll be in line for the Penn St job when Franklin is fired. i wish him nothing but the worse (on the field).
