You’ve heard it from me….and NOW you see it PERFECTLY clear and how the sportswriters cover college football…..14 weeks in and it bears out 100%

OHIO STATE - highest ranked undefeated
GEORGIA - highest ranked 1 loss team
OU, ND, BAMA - b2b2b highest 2 loss teams
TEXAS, USC, MICH highest 3 loss teams

They also have their two loss teams ahead of some one loss teams!!!
They also have their 3 loss teams ahead of two loss teams!!!

This is AP Sportwriter BIAS for the great 8 front and center and it is ROUTINELY done throughout the history of college football

Rule of thumb in my book:
ALWAYS root for these 8 to lose
ALWAYS root for lower ranked to beat higher ranked when they play
ALWAYS root to see these schools get 3+ losses to get them hopefully out of consideration for NC
ALWAYS know, this is how it will end up if these teams give them ANY reason at all (Texas great example - I knew there would be some “talk” of Texas getting a bid even w 3 losses

Will committee follow suit? I don’t know 100%, I hope not and there are some cases where they may not Be able to protect their sacred cows (a BYU win in B12)….we shall see

I hope committee levels it up but that would be naive thinking, chances are slim imo

Would’ve liked for bama to beat Oklahoma when they played

Facts. And it's especially egregious this season, where head to head records shows the ACC is as good if not better than the SEC and BiG this season. Even our "quality losses" like GT losing to UGA look better than their conference games looked. Yet the bias continues despite on-field factual performance.

You lost me at "ACC is as good if not better than the SEC and B1G this season", big dog.

Duke is playing Virginia in our conference championship.

Do we need an additional OOC game for '26, or is it going to be a 9-game conference? @TheOriginalCane

Schedule FAU away every year if an away game helps strength of schedule vs. Home. We save money by not paying them too.

Supposed to be a 9-game ACC schedule next year.

Great, we get to play another unranked team who won't help our CFP case...

Wouldn't it be great if the pollsters ****ed up and put TEN of the ACC teams into the pre-season Top 25?

On a more serious note, I have no idea if the "promised 8 ACC games" for 2026 will be the ACTUAL games (or 8 of the 9 games). Usually, when the ACC makes a big change like this, they **** up all of the expected future opponents.

I was checking out the schedule yesterday, and there were 8 ACC teams- all identified- and locations listed, but dates TBD. FAMU and Central Michigan and ND were the OOC games listed.

Or they mess up all the bye weeks. Can’t wait to have both of our byes knocked out by Oct 1.

My wife is a Buckeye. Ive watched every game since 2013. They will NEVER lose 3 in this iteration of CFB. The refs and the B1G will not allow it. They out recruit the B1G by a monstrous margin and even when they ***** the pooch on a game the refs save them unless it is Michigan.

AP preseason vs now- 12 teams aren't ranked that were ranked in the preseason. Thus, AP voters don't know the teams very well.
They don’t care
I can just guarantee all Great 8 will be top 25 along with Penn state
It’s like running 400m race except those schools only have to 350m

That’s the unfair advantage that annually take place w preseason polls!!!!
