For perspective on APs 2015 preseason vs final NCAA D1 poll:

10 teams unranked were ranked at final tally...

2/5 "top 5" preseason picks did not maintain their lofty positions by the final list...

So out of 25 teams, and the "top 5"subset...

I think Ling Ling the Panda is just as accurate in her predictions as are the AP expert pollsters...

To be fair on pollsters there is some regression to the mean there. A team that starts ranked highly has more room to go down than up.

"If we can be in the Top 25, I'm happy. But if we can win our first five games, then I truly expect us to be in the top 15, depending upon how good we've played and how our offense does."

The SEC is balls deep in you.

I just like watching good football. The ACC just doesn't get it done. But Miami fans have neve been able to grasp college football as a whole.
No we grasp college football. We just toss out the bias. I've seen SEC teams have high scoring games while getting praised for great football while Big 12 gets criticized for terrible defense. Same happens in low scoring games. For the SEC it's just dominant defense but the rest of us just play ugly offense. You should try other channels besides ESPN man

No bias . The SEC is the dominant conference and has been for years now. More OOC wins ,More players in NFL, and plenty of Championships.
More OOC wins? Have you seen their nonconference schedule yearly? Biggest joke in sports. More championships are easy when you were give a 50% shot by the BCS. Did you see the opponents that were lined up for SEC teams in the bowls last year? It was a joke. They learned their lesson when the SEC West got shut out the year behind. The SEC is an investment by ESPN and the powers that be protect them with all costs. How many SEC teams actually do home and homes with nonconference teams?

Why does every expert out there say the SEC West is the toughest division in all of college football? If you can't see that then you are dumber than Mark May.

The SEC West OOC this year.

AM vs UCLA
ARK vs TCUz
Auburn vs Clemson
Bama vs USC
LSU vs Wisconsin
Miss St vs BYU
OLE Miss vs FSU

Does that look like ducking to you?

That's coming from the very best division.

You can go back over several years and see that the SEC doesn't duck anything. You guys complain about UF but fail to acknowledge they play FSU OOC every year and have LSU as their cross over.

Ole Miss vs FSU

listen guy, we don't like the SEC here. regardless if your post makes 100% complete sense if it is SEC positive we don't want to hear it. **** the SEC.

Motherfūcker reps the SEC haaaaard.

No. I just like to set you guys straight. You guys bashing the SEC will always come up short. Go grab your ACC shirt and start pounding your chest.

LOL at a barely literate SEC j*zz gargler setting me straight.

That's a sure fire way of knowing somebody has nothing of value to say.

You do know about 75% of the Canes fanbase is a third world **** who have a 5 th grade education.

Your very presence on this board raises a very interesting point, Mr. Nuts- do the mentally disabled know that they're mentally disabled?

The AP poll argument is invalid. They have Louisville in #19 slot.

Louisville at #19 ? I feel like going on an Allen Iverson-esque "we talkin bout practice!?" rant.

Maybe the Cards shock the ACC and NCAA, but Im thinking the only thing #19 about that squad is Petrino still has 19 stitches left over from is motorcycle and intern girlfriend wreck.

Louisville at #19 ? Are we talking about Louisville at #19 , over #22 UNC?

Or at least thats what Iverson said...

Louisville won it's last two games. North Carolina lost its last two games. Louisville has beaten UNC 3 of the past 4 games vs each other. The AP poll seems to have this one spot on.

What's your answer?

I hear you, however, I'm not certain beating Kentucky and A&M is an apples to apples comparison with losing to Clemson and Baylor.

DC...

For certain, like with any fanbase, you are going to get the corch, croot, amd porster crowd. Bubbas and Bubbettes are the same around the world no matter country of origin or skin tone...

I would say, however, back that truck up that 75% of the Canes' fanbase could be characterized as such...your speculation is a touch high. The Harvard set? No. But putting the Miami fanbase in the same category as most SEC populations (except Vandy) just isn't drawing an accurate picture.
