That's not an unwritten rule. Teams have dropped out before after losing their conference championship game. It's happened multiple times. This unwritten rule of conf champs can’t drop out of CFP is absurd. Although it’s not all conference championships, just SEC and B10. If BYU can fall out, Bama should as well.
When CFP expanded to 12 everyone said conf championships were at risk.
It'sWhere is Alabama? That will be the Decider..

You're making way too much sense brotherImagine James Madison plays Oregon like it's projected too, while Miami sits home. Nobody wants to watch two G5 teams get blown out. CFP needs serious overhaul. Let the top two G5 teams play their own championship title game, a P4 team should not miss out for **** teams. Tulane already lost 45 to 10 against Ole Miss, why would I want to see that again? Also, why the **** is Oklahoma so high? Miami is a more complete team on all sides of the ball!
You guys are so pessimistic. This is a great development.
ND political game is skrong. This is no surprise. It's
9) ND

11) Bama
Let's not get crazy.AP has more sense than the committee.
