They earned every bit of it! This team is so much more talented than their record. J Thomas was a beast for us in the secondary. I feel he's not getting recognized as much as he should be.

AP is definitely one of the most recognized..

I believe the rafters are reserved for Associated Press First-Team All-America selections. Could definitely be wrong, though. But I think that's the criteria.

Chatgpt says that it doesn't just take into account AP All Americans, but other main selectors as well. So if Bain or Toney were first team on other All American lists they may get in the rafters, but not confirmed.

If Scott was healthy down the stretch he would have got it. Even still up to the pt he was injured he graded as one of the best defenders in the nation and he deserved to be 2nd or 3rd team at least. I’m sure the guys in those spots were deserving as well though

Every broadcast on National television starts with the words, that Miami defense has the best two ends in college football

Projected 1 and 2 as of now

But ya know what? Snubs before playoffs makes me feel good. I like it now
