I disagree about Samson. That kids a dog. I understand the desire to move him inside just for consistency and reps for long term slots by youngins. But that's just not picking. Let the kid who's been this loyal to us as a program when he could have easily left prove to scouts he can play either guard or tackle. He deserves that loyalty from us as a program.

I think the OL has come a long way from Stanford. We ran the ball above average against Wake, and were dominant against CMU. There are stinker reps still, some guys have more than others, but I think it's getting a bit weird how fixated folks are on those while missing the OLs trajectory which is pretty clearly up and to the right to my eyes. Clemson should be a really good test for them.

Cantwell isn’t an OG so get him as many snaps at OT as possible.

Congdon and McCoy have similar body types. Massive bases that are nfl OG types.

Samson is making himself money at LT. he may end up at RT in the nfl but his work over the last four years is paying off.

SJ- get better at snaps or start dropping weight to play FB.

By December, we likely will have 7-8 kids that are starter material. The big question, does Cantwell or Hawks push McCoy inside over Maxx? At this point, Congdon is on the path to move SJ to backup center by December(likely October).

Samson, Congdon, RR, Maxx, McCoy is the likely the best group now. Disappointed that Pickett didn’t get snaps at OG but that will happen in time.
