Even though we all want Golden gone and are ****ed at the UM adiministration for not getting rid of him last year, they are not going to fire him after one loss to Cincinnati. It would look REALLY bad to get rid of him with a 3-1 record (unless he did something extremely egregious, like get caught with a prostitute). The only way I see Miami getting rid of Golden mid season is if this loss starts a losing streak and he ends up under .500 before the end of the season. Otherwise, we are just going to have to wait it out until the end for him to get canned.
It is not 1 loss. It is his 23rd loss at Miami (in only 4.25 seasons). He has lost 5 of his last 8. They fired RS for the exact record.
