Anyone shocked

Even though we all want Golden gone and are ****ed at the UM adiministration for not getting rid of him last year, they are not going to fire him after one loss to Cincinnati. It would look REALLY bad to get rid of him with a 3-1 record (unless he did something extremely egregious, like get caught with a prostitute). The only way I see Miami getting rid of Golden mid season is if this loss starts a losing streak and he ends up under .500 before the end of the season. Otherwise, we are just going to have to wait it out until the end for him to get canned.

It is not 1 loss. It is his 23rd loss at Miami (in only 4.25 seasons). He has lost 5 of his last 8. They fired RS for the exact record.

So, you think USC will fire Golden?

They have an AD with ba11s... not one who hides them in his wife's purse like our clown.

The admin (and BOT) are as incompetent as the current coach and the two prior (especially since they are the ones who have allowed this to transpire).

I am not shocked in the least. They are underperformers as well until they decide to change their ways (indeterminate at this point)....

That ALbortion hasn't been fired?

They will NEVER change. They'll continue to eff up everything right up to the day the school goes under and FIU takes over UM as its South Campus. At least then, we will have a GD stadium at last!

Miami fans dont contribute to the program and dont come to the games when we win - we are not Texas, we will have zero impact on Al being fired but the board will take credit

But we care enough to fly banners!!! The BOT has to be embarrassed to the point of firing this dunce!

****, the banners are the ONLY thing making Miami relevant right now.

I am not shocked that Al hasn't been fired yet. What schocked me is when the traitor when up to Happy Valley to seek employment as the head coach at Penn State and we extended his contract. He comes back to Miami in a very secretive manner like we had no idea what was happenning, he doesn't get the offer, we in our a surpreme bargaining position, and Blake & BOT give him an extention. THAT MY FRIEND IS BEYOND SCHOCKING and SURPASSES LOGIC and ALL GRADES OF SHEER STUPIDITY! This is why our program has sunk to the bottom of the ACC.

He got the extension before the PSU fiasco.

Randy Shannon goes 28-22 and is canned before the end of the season after he loses to a team that's outside the power five. Golden goes 28-22 and isn't fired. Golden loses to a team outside the power 5; not fired. The BOT seems to discriminate against guys who don't wear ties.

Shapiro is the only reason AG is still here.

1. This isn't USC, this is Miami, if they didn't get rid of him last season after going 6-7, surely they wont fire him at this juncture. 2. 1-1 isn't a winning record. Had Kiffin been 2-0 he wouldn't have been fired. Had golden lost to Nebraska and Cincy, making him 2-2 he may have been fired, but since Miami is 3-1 at this point they're not going to fire him.

None of this make ANY sense. Miami didn't fire AL because our Admin and BOT are retarded. That is it.

That's right. For some reason I remember his getting fired after the embarrassing Wazzu loss at home.
