Anyone shocked

That ALbortion hasn't been fired?

I genuinely thought that he would get the axe at the end of last season. I guess that Planned Parenthood was too busy killing innocents, to albort Fraulden The Incompetent. I was stunned then, but not now. The IDIOTS in the BOT are going to ride this out so it looks proper to their blue-nosed friends.

But no matter what,

Firing Day is 58 away.

What Klam said. When he wasn't let go after Pitt, you knew he was getting a full year no matter what. The BORG (Board of Retain Golden) collective that have gotten us here, a new president that most likely has football way down his priority list, and an AD that has enabled it all and may not even have a short list in his desk drawer yet all points to them holding their noses and letting it play out until the end of the season. With FSU up this week, it's about to get real ugly.

The admin (and BOT) are as incompetent as the current coach and the two prior (especially since they are the ones who have allowed this to transpire).

I am not shocked in the least. They are underperformers as well until they decide to change their ways (indeterminate at this point)....

Randy Shannon goes 28-22 and is canned before the end of the season after he loses to a team that's outside the power five. Golden goes 28-22 and isn't fired. Golden loses to a team outside the power 5; not fired. The BOT seems to discriminate against guys who don't wear ties.

He isn't getting fired as long as Miami has a chance in the Coastal. New Miami standards.

For me it goes back to the moment blake james made his public statement after the bowl loss to South Carolina. That was the moment I knew that UM no longer cared about the on-field results. As long as the ACC TV contract and Addidas contract are in place, they will care not about winning and losing.

Pretty sure Randy was fired after the regular season and before the bowl game ... either way it was much later in the season

The Monday after the Georgia Tech game is when it happens

Not really...

We are dealing with the worst AD and a pathetic BOT..

They would have shot down the banners with anti aircraft fire if they were allowed to....

They are so dense and full of themselves.. but the perseverance of the fans will eventually wear them down...

Keep the heat on. Fly the banners and no more $$$$ until they act.

My sauce says December 1. Not December 0, because it's Cyber Monday.

Miami fans dont contribute to the program and dont come to the games when we win - we are not Texas, we will have zero impact on Al being fired but the board will take credit

But we care enough to fly banners!!! The BOT has to be embarrassed to the point of firing this dunce!

Even though we all want Golden gone and are ****ed at the UM adiministration for not getting rid of him last year, they are not going to fire him after one loss to Cincinnati. It would look REALLY bad to get rid of him with a 3-1 record (unless he did something extremely egregious, like get caught with a prostitute). The only way I see Miami getting rid of Golden mid season is if this loss starts a losing streak and he ends up under .500 before the end of the season. Otherwise, we are just going to have to wait it out until the end for him to get canned.

Why? To whom? And, who cares? He has already done something egregious--and he's been doing it for years. Far from looking bad, it will send the message that UM cares about winning and winning now.

I agree on the points made, but that is just the reality of the situation. They are not going to fire him with a 3-1 record.
