Anyone paying attention to UF vs UT?

It's the bye week, and considering where I'm from, the biggest thing going on this weekend is when the gaytards come to Knoxville. Was unsure if anyone else was paying attention to the game. IMO, Butch Jones = Al Folded. We'll see, he just looks in over his head.


***On another note, all of my friends from home seem to have this impression that the 2016 Vols would stand a chance against 2016 Miami... because they were ranked higher in the preseason. IMO, I think every positional group for TN is weaker than Miami. Honestly the most laughable is hearing that Hurd is better than Walton. But I digress

Would love to hear your opinions on the topics presented, considering we've still got 2 weeks before the next game.

We would handle Tennessee outside of some fluke game.

UF's defense should be able to stop Tennessee on offense. I don't know what the results post game injury wise were for the UF QB Del Rio, but their offense needs some work. I'd pick UF in this one.

If you've got nothing else to do, might as well go. Big rivalry and one of those games stadiums a college football fan probably wouldn't mind seeing.

Disclaimer, I expect a ton of crap directed your way from some of the children around here. Just a heads up.
 
I'm rooting for TN, of course. Mainly because of disdain of Florida. And this was more a discussion on how, hypothetically, we would match up with them or comparisons and contrasts between position groups and individual players. Don't read too far into this
 
I thought florida was going to embarrass UT until I saw they lost del rio. I still think they'll win. They simply own UT
 
The only reason I can see to care is that more of the recruits we want are interested in uf than tn. I guess I'd rather see uf lose since they can't both lose. I'll be hoping for a score of 2-0.
 
Will always root for UF to lose with the exception of the one in a million situation where them beating some team helps us in some important way.

Not agreeing/disagreeing with you...with that said...

This surging Canes D hasn't faced a legitimate mobile QB/RB backfield tandem. What happens when they do? Will ghosts of Diaz's soft 5-10 yd middles come to haunt the Canes? Can the LB unit handle "assignment critical" football at this stage in thier development?

Those questions get answers when Canes take on GT...

Im expecting some lumps, some hard shots from GT, but again...

Miami executes...Miami rolls...

Visited Miami for the first time this past January. The gorgeous Miami babes definitely weren't digging that I wasn't in a Lamborghini or Ferrari. But I loved the city, I stayed on ocean drive and beach next to it. We had to leave after a day and a half because my buddy needed to go to the hospital for kidney stones. Wish I could live in Miami

I lived in Miami most of my life, and moved to Memphis four years ago. This place has plenty of issues, but moving out of Miami was the best life decision I've ever made. If you're wealthy, Miami can be a great place.
 
I can't believe Tennessee moved Fuzzy Muffin to WR. What a waste. That kid had All-American potential at CB. I guess he just wanted to play on the same side of the ball as Fills-****. Tennessee is a joke. I fully expect them to be routed by whatever Dental school graduate student QB UF rolls out there. And they'll probably still be ranked ahead of us, because you know, SEC.

Our defense would smoke that TN OL. They couldn't handle App States DL.

Oh, I know. I dont live in Miami either and wouldnt want to unless I was a millionaire. However, I could NEVER live in Tennessee! To each their own.

Been a Miami fan since I was little, I'm the only person from my town who isn't a Bama or TN fan. Me and 2-3 others are the only Miami fans I know. But I should put up some of the reckless things my vol friends say. Not one of their starting 11 would start over anyone in our starting 11... for either side of the ball
 
This game will probably come down to who can score on defense or special teams. Florida's offense was pretty bad even before their QB got hurt, and I just don't see Tennessee's offense being able to do much against the Gators' D. Don't expect it will be a fun game to watch.
 
If UT loses they should fire Jones immediately. Him and Golden trading notes Brick by Brick bull. I don't think they will score against UF much. And UF will find some way to beat their *** again. UF has had some terrible teams, even beaten by Charleston Southern or one of those schools and they still manage to beat Kentucky and Tennessee. Pathetic

We want UT to win. They'll fall on their face down the line. We don't need UF to have a shot at winning the East again, or anything that bolsters their crooting efforts.
