Anyone know what kind of time line to hire a OC ?

Depends on when we pull the trigger on Mario and how long it takes to negotiate Brady’s salary. Wishful thinking but I’ll hold hope.

Getting right person is better than getting a person right now.

This will shock many, but as long as they are in-place by Jul pre-season spin up, Miami will be fine wrt what is a realistic W vs L total.

Longer than it takes us to hire a head coach

Hire new OC then fire HC , new HC fires new OC and others for his guys. We fire new HC in 2 years S.O.P a vicious cycle will continue repeating itself till we learn from history.
Don’t like it or want it with me being a Coach Manny supporter but if you all get what you want this is the result.

Buyout kings of the world

It only took 12 hours for Blake James to hire an unqualified head coach. There is no telling with these people.

people don’t want to hear it but we don’t have the personnel to run a pro-spread. Not enough OL talent unless we can bring in a legit OL coach who can recruit and develop right now
I agree but we need to lay the groundwork to attract the right recruits to help run it.

Depends who the hire is gonna be or who we're looking at. CFB playoff team staffer will take another few weeks. NFL playoff team staffer could be more than a month. Guy like Lashlee could be tomorrow.

Took so long last year because we were waiting on Alabama to finish up. If it drags out again I would say you can zero in on someone on the LSU or Clemson staff or NFL guy at least getting an interview before we decide. Someone on the Clemson staff is doubtful because Scott left and now they'll promote their QB coach to be the other co-coordinator.

Hopefully two weeks and get recruiting/hiring staff.

That said, if it's longer, just ******* get it right.
