This is still not good news 100%! Mark PRicht is a defeated man and want out!! Why even discuss an option of keeping him around when his heart is not even in it anymore!! Negotiate his get out and lets move on!! We already witness this guy dead man walking on the sidelines and now to force him to stay due to a high buyout and we end up with someone worst next year!! PRicht's heart is no longer in this and he needs to be shown the door!!

I get giving Ferman **** for **** he’s been wrong on but just bc this is from Canesport and terribly written doesn’t mean that from him, it makes no sense.

If Richt quite he would forfeit any ****** buyout first off. That is hilarious.

Not hard to imagine Richt, coming off his ‘no changes’ speech and humiliating loss, tells James ‘if you’ve lost confidence in me, maybe you should buy me out.’ A comment like that opens the door to a feeling out that will not be accurately quoted.

Richt may stink, but he isn’t insane. He knows he’s staring a rough road in the face. He knows he has very little water left in the well, both on his side and in terms of credibility with the team, fans and institution. The idea he wouldn’t take a buyout is silly.

You’ll read a lot of rumors, but don’t kid yourself - Richt knows he’s failed. His face and emotions have said so loudly. He doesn’t want to fire his son or make any tough decisions at all. He would take a rich, quick exit over a painful and slow one in all likelihood.

I’ve been following this team for 60 years.Longer than the majority of you on here have been around.Ive used those 2 for 1 coupons from Burger King to go to games.Ive been in the Orange Bowl when the program was so bad they thought about dropping down to 1AA.But yet I never wavered in my love for the Canes.

I’ve been through more ups and downs with this program than I care to count and I’m not sure I’ve ever been more disgusted with it’s direction or wondered if it would ever be relevant again to the point I am now.

Is it personal to me? You bet your *** it is.And it will continue to be personal until our idiot AD grows a set and fires Mork and his Merry ban of fools and gets someone in here to run the program that cares as much or more about winning than he does stroking his own ego and keeping his non qualified son employed.

I agree with all except the bolded. The fans are going to raise **** until this mess is fixed.
 
The big question to me in the "forced to hire an OC" scenario is who the **** would want the job? You know the boss got pushed into giving up those responsibilities, you know you've got a QB coach who has his job so long as he's alive. The only guys interested are going to be retreads. I think a lot of up and coming guys might look at the situation and decide to just wait for a better opportunity in a year. This isn't good, anyway you want to cut it, unless Richt is gone.
