Anyone hear anything on this?

Not written well. If Richt said he wants to quit but the buyout has to be (insert amount) I’m sure it’s near his buyout amount. If the BOT says no to that amount then he says ***knyou guys I’ll stick around and if this goes to **** you will have to fire me and pay me the buyout anyway

I posted this on another thread but since this is the official thread here it is. Also, I'm not claiming this guy knows anything but nobody really does it seems.

Yep, Fire Jon or quit. If he has full control of his coaches contractually then it won't happen. **** he may of said that he would promote Jon to OC and hire a QB coach. :hammering-head:

I posted two weeks ago that something is going on with Mark Richt and it’s not football related. I would not be a bit surprised if he resigned in the next 2-3 days. I like Mark, I think he deserves a chance to get this straightened out, but this decision is not about football.

Counsel’s job is not to make business decisions. They’re not going to stop anyone from making a bad deal; their job is to protect you legally.
 
Yea. Just think about this, Charlie Weis' buyout from ND was like $19M. That was a decade or so ago, but still. $25M, from UM, is just not plausible.

Exactly and that’s how you know it’s bull****. Most buyouts are for like 70% or so...

I also don’t buy that Richt wants to completely destroy the program. It’s not the kids fault that he failed.
