Anyone have the PFF grades for our CBs?

Off topic: Would love to see a stat on yards after OL start pushing. Along with yards after contact for RBs.

Fletcher has 251 Yards after contact, and 3.8 Yac/attempt, 18 total Miss Tackles Forced and an 114.1 Elusive Rating.
Brown has 145 yac and 2.96 yac/attempt respectively, 10 total Miss Tackles Forced and a 57.1 Elusive Rating
Team Total we have 474 yac for 3.22 yac/attempt.

Last year over full season Fletcher had 345 yac and 3.08 yac/attempt, 18 total Miss Tackles Forced and an 63.1 Elusive rating.
Martinez had 714 yac for 4.46 yac/attempt, 42 total Miss Tackles Forced and a 126.1 Elusive rating.

Fletcher has been much better this year than last year, and that just seems obvious watching to me. I still don't think he's particularly good once he crosses the 10-15 yard range and doesn't have much wiggle. But he's ACTUALLY breaking tackles this year instead of just getting wrapped up and falling forward for 3-4 yards. This year he's actually getting more than just what the Oline is providing basically. Both backs have been great in pass pro too.

A healthy Bain and Mesidor will reck any teams passing game.

I feel like they are actually more impressive vs the run. They dominate the edges. FSU is in trouble.
In the ACC per game

We’re currently #1 in rush yards. FSU is #2.

We’re number #2 in pass yards. FSU is #3.

We’re #1 total yards allowed. FSU is #3.

FSU is #1 in points allowed. We’re #2.

We’ve allowed 16 more points than FSU so far… in our 4 games to their 3 games.

Kent State went 0-12 in 2024
East TX A&M went 3-9
The 3 wins?
NW State
SFA
HCU

Bama win was nice but they were painfully unprepared. Watched that whole game.

They are banking their offensive success on a combined 3-22 record for their other 2 opponents. I don’t even know which state NW State is in or HCU lol

We have not faced a team that is able to forward pass consistently. The numbers are not reflective of anything yet. If you want to draw a conclusion wait until after Louisville.
I'm more surprised by how this is a fact, and it is, when Miami has played ND, UF, and USF. Really shows you how poorly developed QB's are in 2025. Brown looks better as a runner, Lagway looks horrible, Carr will improve

In all fairness there are some examples that support last year’s production having little to do with this season… starting with our own defense. Night and day.

Clemson
FSU

While I believe win regardless. FSU is completely different. While they do run the ball well they haven’t been tested for real.
