Anyone have some insight on nc and Vatech for next year?

I think both Edmunds brothers are returning. They'll be better on defense. I'll ask my Hokie source for a scouting report.

V Tech will only get stronger.

UNC is losing a QB and a few starters. They'll be well coached as always under Fedora however.

Pitt will also be better.

So will GT.

Huge opportunity we lost this yr, bc I truly believe we could've hung w Clemson towards the end.
 
Just need to beat them both. You do that and the ACC is ours. On the other side, Clemson is losing a lot primarily with Watson leaving this year. And let's not forget FSU with Cook. Wouldn't surprise me if Louisville wins their division next year given that Lamar will still be there.
 
UNC loses a lot on offense (QB, two top WRs, a chunk of their o-line and a couple RB's), but returns most of their defense next year. Tech will lose some good players to the draft (the WR and TE come to mind, along with alot of their d-line), but they will be returning the QB and backs, and most of their o-line. And a lot of talent on defense, predominantly in the LB corp and secondary. Tech should be our primary competition in the Coastal next year.

Ha! To be clear, I expect us to sweep the Coastal absolutely no reason we shouldn't.

VT loses a lot. Ford, Hodges, Sam Rogers, 2 starting OL on offense.
On defense they lose 3 of 4 starting DL. 2 starters in the secondary.

They will be good, but if Kaaya returns we should win at home.

UNC should lose their QB, RB to draft. A lot of WRs to graduation.
 
UNC will most likely have a new coaching staff. Hopefully that happens and the program goes to ****.

I haven't read the rest of the responses but my quick take is that we lose to Va. Tech and that UNC will be a toss up. Having now been through 1 season with coach Richt, I now see why he has the reputation of not being able to win the big game. Va. Tech plays with that dog in them that, to date, I haven't seen from our team. Maybe that changes as the younger guys grow and take on more of a leadership role but we always know that Va. Tech will give us their absolute best and play with total aggression that I'm not sure we care to match.
 
Unfortunately, I see VT winning the coastal next year again. In fact, they will be the favorites to win the ACC and may be in playoff contention.
 
Any chance Jerod Evans leaves early? They'll be losing some important pieces on offense, so his production might slip. Maybe he'll leave instead of risking playing with a bunch of new guys.
