Honestly this is a massive point. We are more than 30 years beyond this event, and Miami has never been able to shake it off. People will go to their deathbed talking about Miami convicts, meanwhile their programs are killing people with drunk drivers and using dead people's credit cards.
 
I'm catholic and under 40 so the hate thing for nd isnt up there.....i hate fsu,uf, and va tech much more.

i do realize during this whole sage the pretentious fan base of entitlement in their delegation though and do realize they are and have been extremly overrated along with utexas for my entire life.
 
OP is spot on and I almost started this same thread the other day. Notre Dame has the most insufferable fan base and it is NOT CLOSE.

The smugness. The entitlement. Inflated self worth. They truly believe that Notre Dame is just better than everyone else except nobody remembers the last time they won a national title.

They are so much worse than Florida and FSU fans. They are not even in the same universe and FSU fans in particular can be pretty awful.

i was there in 2016, the nicest human beings i've ever met without comparison.

but i still ******* hate the team and the program.

So why is your peni$ headed AD attacking the ACC? No love lost here for that conference, but your “tough guy” said he talked to Sankey like weekly, so if the SEC is the problem, why is he kissing Sankey’s AZ$?

Nothing/no one will ever replace the gator for me.

What ND has done the past week is deplorable, but they have about 30 years of ground to make up in my mind. My most hated program in all of sports, maybe my most hated group of humans in the world, are gators and it's a SIZEABLE gap to #2.
