According to them, Dawson said that last season they knew they had a horrible defense so they had to let Cam score as much as possible to keep us in games. He said that this season they are trying to score 28 points per game, and that 28 should be good enough to win any game.

What kind of corch says crap like this? It’s obvious that he got his marching orders from Wario before the season. That would explain why we stopped playing aggressively against ND and Florida State after being ahead big in those games. Good/great coaches want to beat the dog ***** out of other teams. These corches have killed our team’s spirit and confidence by playing not to lose.

No, I’m not surprised. I’ve been saying this since Mario’s 1st season, but porsters said that Oregon fans were crying because he left. Most of them were actually celebrating when he left. They had seen him blow many games that he should have won by employing his unequalled game day genius and preferred scheme.

I caught a little of that… if true he’s trying to distance himself from this years train wreck offense and pump himself off cams year for another gig OC or G5 HC whose dumb enough to take him

Ahhh.........he is actually correct. We only need to score 28 points a game. Only problem is...we aint doing it. I've said this for 2 years. We score 28+ every game, we win every game.

Defense has not given up more than 24 points this season…. Sooo if he could just do his part and score 28 we would be undefeated right now

Can't do it with 3 yard runs 2 out of every 3 plays.

If you look at the game in the perspective of possessions in a game, the math comes to you a bit quicker. If we average 4 scores a game in an average of 5 minutes, That only leaves the other team 20 minutes to do the same. IF they don't have the same averages, they are going to lose the game because there is no more time available to them.

The problem for us (outside of not being able to get the points this year) is that we get to 21 and slow the game down. That's playing the other teams objective...slow the game down to keep it close. We have to shed that mentality to win the games we are supposed to.
