Not a real fan

Better to not bet at all

If you dislike the coaches at least you should be rooting for the players

Sad at anyone who is cheering for FSU

Betting wise it's a no brainer and will because it will make the pain easier when we lose. Will be best money ever lost if we somehow find a way to win. Doesn't not make me a Canes fan just smart business. Can't stand FSU and their trashy fans

Don't bet on teams you have personal interest in because more times than not if you bet with your heart you'll lose your ***.

Seriously? FSU -2.5? Is that the real line? I'm honestly shocked that they are not favored by more. Now the real interesting thing will be how that number changes as it gets closer to game time.

Believe it or not it's possible to bet on one team and root for the other team. I've only done it hundreds and hundreds of times. I make thousands of wagers per year and only root for a handful of teams -- Canes, Dolphins, USC, a few others. When there's conflict it's absolutely no trouble at all rooting against my money. After all, I might have 50 bets that day so big deal if I root one of them opposite my wager. That one game is not going to change the bottom line anyway.

Besides, it allows for far greater normalcy and sanity if you continue to maintain your boyhood rooting interests simultaneous with wagering, instead of allowing yourself to become totally engulfed. I've had that argument with other bettors on Las Vegas radio panels for decades. Lots of them like to arrogantly assert that they don't root for any team, that all they care about is their money. That's a weakness, not a strength, IMO. Pathetic. But lots of them don't like to hear it, just like not everything I post on sites like this is appreciated.

I absolutely will be considering a wager on Florida State at this price range. I still have to go over some things, and try to decide whether the number will plummet further. One of my primary theories is that everything tends to drift back to the beginning. I like to take advantage of overreaction. Early this season the line would have been something like Florida State -10 to -13. Now it's dropped more than a full touchdown.

No real betting man who has interest in winning makes 50 bets in one day, unless you were exaggerating, which I hope you were

Sorry but betting against your team is a no no. FSU wins by 1 lets say, not only do you feel awful they didn't cover but then you just realized you bet against your own team and lost.

There are countless of other games to gamble that day, choosing to bet against your own team just shows the lack of "fanhood"
