Had a rotary phone in the kitchen that had about a 10’ cord on it. Start wandering around until you ran out of cord or got wrapped up.

Had a rotary kitchen wall phone until 1987. Son had a friend over, he was about 8. Said I have to call my Mom. My wife handed him the phone and he was dumbfounded. She said, "put you finger in the number, pull it to the silver metal piece and let it go." We still tell the story to this day.

Back in high school this was the style, sansabelt slacks with silk shirts.

Also Clogs ( wood shoes) with pooka shell necklaces.
