I have zero expectations for him anymore. Availability is an ability and he hasn’t shown that ability. Maybe he will, or maybe he won’t but all I know is we have a receiving crew this year that’s producing and that’s all I care about.

I mean guys could it not be both? He tweaked an ankle in camp and was slowly ramping back up but perhaps wasnt hitting his rehab hard enough or got caught with weed or "violation of team rules" and was suspended, it doesnt have to be a giant conspiracy, happens a lot when kids are stuck in the training room and not with the team out their daily, more time usually equals more time to find trouble. I dont think it is as serious as anyone is really making it out to be. If we dont see him (with no new news) after the bye week I would start getting concerned

The staff isn’t holding anyone back and NIL has nothing to do with it like the previous poster guessed.
 
Just redshirt him at this point.

Marion, Johnson, Daniels are moving on after this season, so he can come back in 2026 as a RS-sophomore starting alongside Toney and Moore.

1. Maturity would allow?
2. What is the point? We need him this year if we are going to make a run and if he starts to put it together he isn’t staying a 4th year let alone 5th

While I don't agree with needing him to make a run, I also don't really see a point in him not playing if he's able.

But one more setback and it might be best for him to focus on getting stronger. Toney is like 4'2" 73 lbs and he's already more durable.
