Any Rosier defenders left?

42.9% completion is the most telling stat. Get that ****** out of there. I saw so many overthrows and so many underthrows that should have been easy completions.

I tried warning them , but I guess I was just a bad fan.

Or.....I’m just a realistic fan.

Guys that are inaccurate as **** don’t change their stripes. Sometimes being a blind homer interferes with judgement.
It is possible to become more accurate imo, but he was so ****** inaccurate that there wasnt much to improve on.

EVERYONE knew he wasnt good so we should have had a qb ready to go and malik would have been a grad transfer for someone else. In the real world if u have an employee that isnt good u replace them. If not the problem becomes u not being able to attract anything better. We all know the qb isnt good but u cant tell me that they dont see this in practice. The coaches were saying the qb improved and the line played better yeah right

You expect the coaches to come out and say they suck??

Yeah we knew he wasn't good, still doesn't mean we can't speak on it

WHere are the usual suspects to defend Simple Jack? Anyone who even remotely does should be banned from this site and checked into a mental hospital

And **** Richt and this ****** *** offense. And his blind loyalty to this bum as ******* QB. Three years in and this is the best we ******* got?! Are you ******* kidding me?

People had the nerve to say we shouldn’t bash Rosier because he is a Cane and tries hard. Like he’s some special needs kid. I think a ****** could have better accuracy than him

I don’t give a **** about an IPF and if Richt helped build that ****. Tonight was unacceptable and it all leads back to Rosie. JUST LIKE ANY SANE PERSON WHO WAS OBJECTIVE AFTER THE END OF LAST YEAR PREDICTED

4 straight losses. Un****ingbelieable
I think Miami fans are overreacting to the loss.

It's important not to lose sight of the fact that nobody torches LSU through the air. Teams that beat LSU do so by running the ball and playing defense. One of few exceptions was LSU's 44-41 loss to Richt-coached Georgia in 2013 when Aaron Murray was under center. Georgia threw the ball early, often and effectively in that game.

When trying to think of another example you'd have to go all the way back to Spurrier's days at UF to find one that isn't debatable.

While you're justified in being dissatisfied with Richt, your reasoning misses the mark.

It doesn't matter who plays QB, if you can't control the LOS you can't pass on LSU. Just ask Johny Manziel and Texas A&M (or any other A&M QB from Tannehill-to-present.

Miami was never going to win this game relying so heavily on the pass.

Allowing this game to serve as the basis for the opinion that Rozier shouldn't be starting would be like LSU fans using the Alabama game to write off a running back. This LSU defense may be the best in the country, and this LSU team top-to-bottom may be the best to wear purple and gold since 2011.

LSU did itself no favors by overreacting to a road loss to a Top-10 Wisconsin team in 2016. If Les Miles is never fired LSU finishes 2016 with the same record and goes 11-2 in 2017 instead of 9-4. I would caution Miami against taking self-destructive actions in wake of this loss to a criminally underrated team with top-5 roster talent nationally.

LSU team will feature one of the nation's top defenses, and the offense has always been just a QB away. Don't be shocked if LSU finishes the season at worst on par with the likes of Auburn and Georgia, perhaps Alabama.

Save your energy D this **** stinks dog. Chip Kelly lost to Cincinnati.... I don't know what in the world is going on with OUR football program, but do not waste your breath. These muthafukkas got some explaining to do. Manny I'll hang up and listen. Clear as day that Burrow checked out of the run to the pass when he saw Jaquan bluff on the initial blitz. Then Jaquan looked over probably got a signal from Manny to do it anyway and burrow checked into a basic off guard run and that was td #1. That's pop warner **** and y'all know it!
Burrow was making checks at the line and we stood in our set. He saw things and we didnt do ****

The point has been made and if Rosier is the best QB that Miami has.... "we are ****ed" doesnt even begin to describe
the sh*t we are in.

There’s exceptions to the rule , but most coaches say if you’re really inaccurate that’s what you’ll always be. And vice versa.

In today’s football with all the rules leaning towards the o , easier reads and qb friendly offenses there’s no excuse in being a 50 % passer.

That’s just atrocious. That isn’t getting fixed.

So we can talk objectively about Richt now? Do I get my negs back?

I appreciate the reasonable analysis but this has been building for almost a year now. Terrible OL play, terrible QB play, nobody in year 3 to replace terrible Rosier, clueless defensive coordinator and players on the field, bland and stubborn play calling by Richt. The list goes on and on. Last night was just the culmination of all of the lies we've been told since last spring.

I think It’s just coach speak at this point, mfs be lying. “Mike smith, jahvontae dean, Robert knowles, Bradley Jennings” were some of the most improved players on the team in an interview just last week with Diaz and that’s a ******* lie...

No. Just no. You're drawing conclusions after watching rosier for one game. We're drawing conclusions after watching many games. You say that nobody passes against LSU, but Rosier looked just as bad against a horrible Pitt team as he did against LSU. Completion percentage of 42% over the last 4 games. Missing guys running wide open all game long with horribly inaccurate passes (many times NOT under duress). This level of qb play isn't major conference D1. It isn't even midmajor conference D1. It's D2 or D3 or high school even.

I would actually caution you against overreacting to the win. With qb play that bad it's easy for things to snowball when the offense can't stay on the field. Other teams won't afford you that level of qb play and self destruction. To me LSU appears to be a decent team, but when you play some good teams your offense will struggle to put up points and you'll incur some losses. Your ceiling is probably 8-4 or 9-3.

Does anyone really trust Richt that the other guys aren't good enough?

Completing 40% isn't hard for a D1 QB

He's lying, for whatever reason

Gotta be so he doesn’t expose the fact that we’re in year 3 and Richt and Richt Jr. have yet to recruit and coach up a good QB.

Protecting his ego maybe, by using Malik as a scapegoat?
