Any Rosier defenders left?

Rosier clearly didn't play well but in fairness to him he was getting harassed on a large percentage of plays because: (1) the OL didn't protect him well from a stout LSU defense; (2) the TEs are young (we badly missed upper class bodies as it relates to blocking); and (3) the RBs didn't block particularly well either. He played poorly but the passing stats aren't entirely on Rosier. I also think the playcalling could have been different to protect Rosier a little.

I took a lot of negs as well during the offseason.

It wasn't the need of wanting to be right and bloviating about it. It was being cautious and recognizing the ned for change at QB.
 
Y’all quick to blame our woes on Richt play calling but wtf can he do when his QB stares his defenders to death?? Or doesn’t make the right reads?? or complete underthrows a wide open receiver?? If Malik can’t operate in Richts Vanilla offense, what in the **** makes you think he can operate in an even more complex scheme??
 
I was hard on Rosier from Pitt through the bowl game last year. The months away gave me hope he could improve, but clearly, I was wrong. It's time to see what the young guys can do. **** it, give all 3 a shot.

We'll always have the crowd amp up and throw against FSU circa 2017 Malik but this **** has ran it's course.

I've never blamed Richt's playcalling. And people want to harp on Richt Jr. for Rosier's development, or lack thereof. My problem with Richt and his kid is that Rosier still can't run this offense in year 3 since Richt's been here. And apparently none of the 3 QBs we've brought in were even close to unseating him. Given tonight's performance by Rosier, it begs to question what Richt Jr. does here exactly?

Im hearing loose cannon ( Mr Rosier ) has legally changed Malik’s name on his birth certificate to Hosier.
 
So yall really bashing the kid instead of the coaches that can’t recruit or develop over him. Rosier is what he is but no excuse for not bringing in a grad transfer or recruit to take over his job.

We can dislike him and the process so far, who are you to say we can't? The kid isn't very good, sorry but it's true... we all hoped N'Kosi would be ready... he wasn't around this week anyway, hopefully he gets in soon

Richt's getting bashed as well. But there have been a plethora of fans stating that this was the likely scenario if we rode out with Rosier this year.
 
We really need to take a qb in this class. Cant afford to pass this cycle.
 
I'll defend him on the grounds that he is just a kid who is being put in a position that far exceeds his skill set. It's like taking a bus driver and telling him to fly a 747 because they both carry passengers. He did good work last year given his limited skills, but at the end of the season, should have been given a handshake and told thanks, and make sure to put that Miami education to good use in whatever career you choose.

Here's the thing, if Kaaya had returned last year, Rosier would have started this game as his first game ever. Think about that. That is 1000%a failure on Richt to not have a better qb on the roster in year 3.

EVERYONE knew he wasnt good so we should have had a qb ready to go and malik would have been a grad transfer for someone else. In the real world if u have an employee that isnt good u replace them. If not the problem becomes u not being able to attract anything better. We all know the qb isnt good but u cant tell me that they dont see this in practice. The coaches were saying the qb improved and the line played better yeah right

Who can replace Rosier tho? We don’t have ****...
 
Didn’t even watch this game tonight because I knew Rosier was gonna stink it up and we would get our asses handed to us because of his chit play. Have no intention of watching another game until this POS is permanently benched. Try someone else. It’s gotten to the point we’re I’d rather see a walk-in play over this honker. What the **** is Richt thinking? That someone from heaven will drop down, touch this bum and turn him into Joe Montana?
 
Rosier is rosier. His arm can win you a few game and lose you many more. The issue is CMR .. they've had 3 years to work with Rosier. He shouldn't be having the same problems over a 3 year period. Either coach him up better or recruit his replacement. Neither was done.
