Any props for DL Coach Stroud?

Let's not forget who brought the d-line respectabilty back, 1st it was coach richt coming in, going back to the 4-3 and having an understanding that the **** coach diaz was running would actually work here and, mack brown wasn't having it, cause he didn't understand the fundamentally flawed chaotic defense coach diaz was trying to run, mack brown is old skool, so he gave manny the axe with the quickness.

Than coach richt brought in coach overrated Kool( good pass rush teacher, terrible run stopper coach)
Coach was was not overrated his resume speaks for itself he is one the best college dline coaches in history ! He took no star kids and made them all Americans and NFL draft picks.

than coach richt upgraded from him and of course brought in jess simpson, you could see from the early practices of spring our run defense was going to be much improved. Than now coach diaz brought in his guy coach stroud while jess was still in the fold, jess said no problem, I see what's going on, let me make it easy for you, and dipped out.
So let me get this right it's your interpretation Coach Simspon left because he was getting pushed out and no choice but to upgrade career an become Dline coach for the Atlanta Falcons.

In comes coach stroud, and with how the internet is just a push button away for alot of people, recruits understand, coach stroud coached a player that went #1 overall in the draft, they know they in real good hands. Whereas jess simpson was an unknown and had no real resume of developing NFL talent at the college level, although he seemed to actually have the know how.
Stroud coached Mario Williams for 1 year in 2005 and then he was drafted in 2006 that's a stretch to claim all the previous years of Williams development. But in the 14 years since things have been a little baron in terms of talent production.

Plus guys understand again, this is a team game, the more you stay fresh, the better you will perform, same thing with our running backs room, this is how coach hickson is starting to stack backs, he's the best runningbacks coach we've had since coach soldinger particularly with pass-pro, any way, we been giving coach stroud his just due, many are just catching on late.

So slow your roll in bashing the previous Miami dline coaches under Coach Richt.

First off, stating facts is not bashing, those who keep claiming that coach kool is one of "the best d-line.coaches in the country" that non-sense needs to stop, you cannot be in the tops if your d-lines don't stop the run well, if you want a pass rushing d-line only than coach kool is your guy, coach richt wasn't happy with the he run defense an expressed that to em, so he goes to Bama how long did he last their, immediately their run defense started declining, I was good when he left.

You don't like puzzles, what was coach stroud title when be was hired while coach simpson was still here, put the pieces together, coach simpson was a coach richt guy, coach simpson weighed working under a 1st year headcoach and the risk and manny didn't get evidence that he needed to see, so

No way anyone keeps Taylor out of the 2 deep next year. Taylor is simply on another level talent wise. There is someone that I compare him to but I won't do that here for obvious reasons lol.

I can't predict the future in terms of which draft eligible players decide to enter the draft. What I do feel very comfortable saying is that what we have to look forward to on the DL with Cam Williams, Harrison Hunte, Elijah Roberts, Leonard Taylor, Chaz Williams, Quinten Williams, Jafari Harvey, Jabari Ishmael, Savion Collins(Stroud will develop him into a beast 1 tech) and Thomas Davis can be very special.
Just absolutely sick the amount of talent we’ve been able to secure and coach up on the roster. I’ll gladly give Stroud props; sure the kids love the way we play defense but it takes coaching to get them to their next level. Stroud does that in spades. Great to have him as DL coach.

So coach diaz went with the guy brought in a guy he could trust just in case, and the just in case happened, they both handled it like men. Coach simpson was an upgrade over coach kool, and a better overall d-line teacher, his pedigree that most of the young people could see, was just highschool credit, people in the know respected him years prior.

And now on to coach stroud, you must not know coach todd was at nc state for at least 2 years with mario, which can be said was probably the most important 2. But what's comical, you accusing me of bashing the prior to coaches, I just stated facts, but you are the one trying to downplay coach stroud, you want to make it seem it was just mario as well, how many d-line coaches can say they coached the #1 overall draft pick, also, don't just highlight mario and fail to mention in that same draft, 2more of the d-linemen he coached went in the1st round of that same draft. Wherever he's coached d-line, he left his mark, when he gets his hands on talent the resume speaks for itself, it's not a fluke jock rousseau showed up like he did after one year under stroud.

And let's not leave out the fact that he's also a strength and conditioning coach so he knows how he want his d-linemen to look and focus on as well. You already seeing the young guns starting to show up in the limited time under coach stroud. Plus, let's not forget, that man was born in Florida, and played the position.

Reminds me of people who bashed coach kehoe, where all he did was produce 1st round draft picks, went to somewhere in Mississippi, produced another 1st rounder, came back home, produced another 1st rounder, but their was a rumor going around that he couldn't coach.

So i have a better question what was coach Stroud's title before Manny hired him. Hmmm

Soooooo we are just going to assume the previous 14yrs with no draft picks yet recruiting and coaching all those players at various schools was what an aberration ?
Now over that same 14 year period there is HOF Cane who has produced draft picks year after year who is now only 50 miles of Coral Gables who could coach circles are around Coach Stroud and has resume to prove it. #BringKP-ToDaCrib

Look I am not going to dig up anymore, let's just enjoy the season and agree to disagree.

Why are you trying to bring me into this circle jerk session. I am trying to not comment until after signing day. Recruits and their families read this board why would you try to provoke a public negative response from me. I have read this thread several times and don't need @ me to draw my attention so please to try an add something positive to the board rather than sow discord.

You have to dug up anything relevant to coach stroud cause maybe you don't know, plus that man was sick for a lil while. I'm not sure what his title was before he came here, but wherever his title was d-line coach, the results spoke for themselves. Here's what we know, 2 new starters on the d-line last year and all we did was leave ranked #10 in the nation against the run, #4 in the nation for tfl's and #6 in sacks. Coached jock rousseau 1 year, possible 1st round pick once again from under his tutelage. Can't deny the man!

There’s always one *******
Nah, just an objective fan taking a wait and see approach after enduring almost two decades of false prophets. You are free to to break out your knee pads prematurely if you so choose. I will until we face a team who is actually good before passing judgement.

What were those stats against teams whose offenses had a pulse?

You can figure that one out yourself, if you know football, and if you actually watched UM last year, you'd know the answer/s, it's really not that hard to figure out!

Looks like you don’t know.

Short-team/selective memory is a funny thing.

Beat a ****-poor FSU team and it's like the Louisville effort completely disappears.

You did. I think you’re gonna have to acknowledge Stroud’s current successes, assuming they continue as they have - Nesta & HH for starters.

Just wanted to give a shout out to Coach Stroud. Dude has been around since the beginning of the Manny era, and while he’s not the primary DE coach, seems like he’s always working with them, and this could be the third time in his career he has two first round picks in his position group in the same year.
