Any news on AQM?

If him beating up the walk on incident is true they would have announced him being suspended. I seriously just think this is another one of goldens moves where he wants to follow some sort of process thinking it's best for the team to hold him out because he didn't follow some sort of "process" Correctly so he's gonna hold him out and play somebody else. If he was suspended by the university he wouldn't he in full pads on the sideline.

We don't have to know why AQM isn't playing... Just win games... I think they are handling this situation correctly... You want the player to know that the staff supports him until everything is settled...
 
I find it hard to believe Jimbo, Saban or Urban allow a "non-football" issue carry on for weeks and weeks involving one of their best players.

Not sure if what i heard is true but his roommate knocked down his kid and an asswhipping ensued. So the university is acutally investating to see if charges will get filed. TIFWIW

While I think he will be a very good player, you guys are acting like he played like Jerome McDougle last year, I'm sure Harris could let Winston run by him as well

the football coaches dont know either. the school is handling the situation because it involves a former roommate who has now graduated. they dont want to comment to respect his privacy and they dont know what the exact punishment will be so they wont announce a suspension.

what we do know and what was reported by barry jackson is that there was an altercation w a former roommate (now graduated) and the roommate was hurt (not sure if hospitalized), but the school is investigated so the coaches dont know whats going to happen.

Seriously doubt a roommate would mess with AQM's kid or family.Complaint would be as loud as he would have the balls to get.

seriously u gusy dont read the herald at all do you. it was in the sports buzz and pete said the same thing. its an altercation involving a former roommate and him.
 
Different institutions with different priorities. Al is what he is as a coach, but if the institution has Quan then they have him. Golden has no leverage.

So why dress him and have him standing on the sidelines? Are they hoping that the University somehow decides at halftime or mid-quarter one game that AQM is cleared to play and then run him out there? I've never seen a suspension of any sort handled in this fashion.

I mean why not dress Olsen then? Clearly both Olsen and AQM are "suspended" in some way. Clearly there was zero chance of either of them playing in the first 2 games. The only difference is that AQM appears to be "suspended" by the University. But hey, if all this makes sense to you guys then so be it.

the plan was for Olsens suspension to actually not be publicly announced. WQAM told the world about Olsens suspension and then the school confirmed it. they didnt want this kids failed drug tests being out there for everyone to see bc they wanted to keep it in house.
 
don't we have designated fighters are losing Eddie Johnson? you know some grad student that AQM could point to and say "beat his *** for hurting my baby!"
