If you have a problem with D2 schools attempting to play up to the mismatch level at which they are at a disadvantage schools like FSU and even us shouldn't schedule them. as much as you want them to lay down their gonna play hard and use whatever means to even the playing field

there is a difference between playing hard.. maybe playing a bit "dirty" but actively trying to injure players is a different story.

no, hate FSU, dont need some kids knees f'd up for life over a game.

You play a contact sport your gonna get hurt.

but i get where your coming from it was a bonehead thing to openly come out with saying you were "aiming for knees" instead of just saying you were playing hard no matter "dirtyness"

Cut blocking is legal and done at every level of football. "going for the knees" is precisely how it is taught.

Cut blocking is legal.

they were clearly insinuating doing more than just cut blocking.

Were they flagged for anything?

Jimbo himself said they didn't do anything illegal.

The kid is obviously gloating about something and being a ****, but they didn't do anything illegal (and thus dirty)

Now if they were chop blocking all game than they were definitely going above and beyond the spirit of the game.

While im not a fan of intentionally hurting a player, players do know what they sign up for. Offensive lineman are taught to cut block. its not new, i was getting cut blocked when i played, i was taught to cut block when i played offense. nothing new. if they couldnt protect themselves which FSU players play very aggressive then that their faults. IN this sport we say "man he should have killed him" or "they need to light him and up" cant be soft when guys says they wanted to hurt you. Football is too hurt people no matter intentional or unintentionally.

and DL are taught how to react to cut blocking. If FSU players were not taught how to deal with it, or not prepared for the cut blocking techniques citadel was bringing to Doak on Saturday that is on their coaches.

I'm only a fan if they succeeded in injuring some fsu players. Did they? If they failed at that too, then they can continue to suck a dyck.
