**** I want both. Bama had a prolific offense last year & I was still bored watching them. Results need to come before the talking. Growing up, if you were gonna talk about it, you better be about it cause you were gonna get checked real quick regardless.

I love players showing their personality but it's always cringey when you broke & bragging.
 
There is just something about a team that lines up and demoralizes you without grand standing. They just expect and are expected to uphold that standard of play so it’s not a congratulatory effort like wow. It’s yes this is what we do.

Brown was competent at BC. He just can’t be himself in Oregon’s offense. Sanders has been at OSU his whole career, same offense, and still can’t figure it out.

Except, Jimmy didn't. Jimmy had no problem with guys celebrating, what he wanted was for guys to have fun, but do their job. Winning by itself is fun, and if you can amp up the fun with a bit of celebrating, then so be it.

No, it was Jimmy. Bear Bryant always told his recruiters, “To never pay more than the going rate”, referring to how much a recruit was being offered by other schools.

Actually, Jimmy said that. His players we’re pretty professional. Erickson’s we’re out of control celebrations. Like Thrill Hill in the Cotton Bowl tunnel.
