Now that Golden is gone, we talkin bout our commits staying, and a few maybe leaving.... but my question is will we now be considered by guys like Trayvon Mullen, Binjimin Victor, and a few others???

Liked what Steve Walsh said...Miami's in the advantage as far as recruiting goes..Other coaches don't know who they're recruiting against, but certainly can't say Golden's ship is about to go down as it has already sunk...
 
$ec Bag men says No F-ing chance regardless of whomever Miami Hires as head coach. Let's think about this for a moment. Star players are getting upfront cash, plus cars , and their families are being moved to whatever school they attend which gets them out of the hood. Don't kid yourself, the flood gates have been opened an these cost of living stipends are ideal for masking the true amounts the $EC bag man give to kids.

Sony Michel family moved to Georgia ( cough cough both his parents are Haitian and barely speak English but yet were able to relocate to Athens, not to mention the BS that went on his brothers failed attempt at transferring to UGA from UMass)

Derrick Green who went to Michigan was the nations #1 RB (#8 overall player) in 2013 had his whole family relocate ( cough cough) from Richmond, VA to Michigan ( where the unemployment rate was 10% at the the time where as in VA it was 4%)

I won't get into the RB Alex Collins bag man deal that got him to Arkansas despite what his mother wanted.

The Petersons and Travonte Valentine to L$U were blatantly open transactions of south Florida's top talent being bought.

An looking at the the 2016 class Michigan openly bought not only the players from Flanagan HS, but also the head coach Devin Bush who will miraculously end up on Michigan's football support staff.

So yes having a good coach will help Miami land the local kids who don't hit the bag man radar, but the elite kids unless they are raised as die hard canes, will more than likely take the money and even more importantly allow their families to relocate out of the hood ( if they are impoverished).

Man the NCAA is camped out on Ponce De Leon Blvd with parabolic Microphones and HD cameras. The CG bag men are on sabbatical.

That's the most reckless and irresponsible statement I've ever heard on this board.

Quite the contrary, I know that Butch can confront the bag men straight up and tell em to chill and that sending their boyz here is the best thing for their career....and the boyz can take care of bag man, later. Golden basically shun the bag men so much so that he even shunned the players that had bagman around them...and in So Fla, every one has someone in their ear, so as a serious coach recruiting this area, you better know who the real relevant most influential person in the kids life IS. Golden never did, unless it was the mother. And if it wasn't the mother, recruit be gone elsewhere. Golden got played left and right by recruits, so he filled his staff with local recruiters to offset that. Weak. Butch won't need that.
