Any chance of flipping Khairi Clark?

Lots of insiders in this thread. Lol

Rationalize rationalize rationalize, if Clark was committed here he would be the best in the state. At least for once we got the best one in the state in Valentine, but our fans rationalize everything.

Is rationalizing if it's true that Valentine is the better player. Not sure there is anyone in this thread has said they wouldn't take Clark, more so just questioning his work ethic.

Lol @ courcy75. What am I a cameraman from the Herald? I saw it on here so go look the **** up yourself in one of these threads. Im not some fake insider so either believe me that im not some idiot who posts **** that aint true or you GTFO. I can see hes ur boy so I wont ruffle your feathers anymore. We got Valentine. Clark can go to **** as far as im concerned.

Why are we even talking about a kid whos not even the least bit interested in us anyway? Put this clown with the Lane/Lammons/Wilson U*** crew as Franshise would say.

meh. i've heard the same about clark's work ethic but contrary to popular belieft it's not that uncommon for elite athletes. they are so much better than everyone else than they can coast on natural gifts, take plays off, and still dominate. you see it at all positions but especially the big boys. now hopefully it doesn't become a trend at the next level and you hope they lose that mentality, but it's not a worry now for most coaches.

I can dig that. And on that note I am going to fade to black because this thread should not have even gone on this long about a kid who has about 0% interest in us.

It is a bit uncommon to see those players gain a ton of bad weight when they already had conditioning issues though.

Also not sure I'd want a player who coasts on natural gifts. Lazy is lazy.

i don't disagree entirely, but sometimes players step it up when they go to the next level.

for example by all accounts deon bush was 'soft' and took plays off in high school, dude was a beast instantly as a freshman. coley had a rep for being unfocused and taking plays off and look at him now. sometimes like i said they're so much better than their opposition they get away with it in high school. the hope is it changes but you're right sometimes it doesn't and the kid fails. i guess we'll have to see which categoy clark falls into. dude probably got his head blown up after his sophomore year and started coasting.

I've always been hesitant on kids who seemingly have little heart. That can obviously mean a lot of things but I am talking about a kids willpower to continuously work hard and push limits no matter the circumstance. Whether its practice, yes we talkin bout practice, or games. Whether your a star in HS or not. Etc.

I've never seen Clark play but everyone knocks the kids willpower and determination so to speak. If thats really the case it speaks volumes about his character. I understand that kids can change not only on their own free will or adapt to college once they get here (Goldenism) but I think I'm taking Moten, the kid who seems to always give it his all 10 times out of 10.

I understand that kids can change and stuff so this talk about Clark doesn't mean thhaaattttt much to me just yet. We'll see how the kid acts when he gets to college. Thats going to really determine his destiny. Hopefully the way he is now doesn't set him back too much.

It just takes the right coach and the right situation to get it out of them. We're being told Seantrel (who had many work ethic issues) has straightened up under Golden as opposed to Shannon. It could be the $$ flashing now but, either way. If Muschamp thinks he can get it out of Clark, there's no issue. If he's hoping Clark does it on his own then it's a big risk. Florida is doing pretty well on the DLine so if he gets lost in the shuffle it doesnt kill them
