Any chance of Arky St or FAMU pulling off an upset?

I was never a fan of this staff... I always felt the hype was unwarranted... However, I always had a wait and see approach... I don't understand how anyone can hope we lose to FAMU and Arky ST... That would be terrible for this program... You hope for improvements and wins... No hype and no wishful demise... Just show progress...

You watch. If Golden somehow pulls out 7 or a miracle 8 wins, the slurpers will call it a 2001 season, how he overcame adversity (the adversity he is responisble for), etc.

There is ZERO chance this team finishes better than thrid in the Coastal.
 
Arkansas State has an opportunity to do us the biggest favor in the history of favors.

You lose THAT game, at home, in front of an already ****ed off fan base....and there's no way even our incompetent administration can suppress the **** show. He'd have to resign.

It's actually not being seriously debated. That some people are crazy enough to think it's a decent possibility reflects only on their lack of knowledge and irrational hatred.

I would not give points in the Arkansas State game. If we lose, Al doesn't last til end of season.
 
Arkansas State won 28 games the past three years. Their coaches will be studying the UL game film and running the same scheme against UM.
 
If we lose either game, AG should just drive to the airport and back to Jersey!

Arkansas State is much better than some you guys think. And Al Golden is just ridiculous bad. Not a great combo the past 3 or 4 years.
 
Arkansas State is going to believe they can win. And there have been a lot better teams knocked off by even lower level teams. Kansas State, which is infinitely better coached than us, lost to 1aa North Dakota State early last season. Ark State will give us fits.

We continue to get outcoached. We come out unprepared. We line up defensive linemen on WRs. Our DLinemen are in Offensive tackle stances. On 3rd and short we put 3 safeties 7 yards deep. On the 3rd and long we run a wildcat WR reverse.

Its honestly a joke...thats the only explanation.

It's year 4, winning games against FAMU and Arkansas State isn't what I call progress. Anyone with a clue can see Golden needs to go. A loss against any of those teams would solidify him being gone. I do not expect us to lose any of those games.

I will never root against the Canes or ever hope they lose. Ever.

But.....If I was betting, my money would be on Ark. State.
 
We just lost to a conference opponent. We will probably have to go undefeated in the ACC from here on out in order to be able to go to the ACCCG. That means going undefeated in the Coastal (something we have never done) and pull off the miracle upset of beating FSU (highly unlikely).
