Any chance of Arky St or FAMU pulling off an upset?

Go find a new team to be a "fan" of, you're clearly not a 'Canes fan.

Vastly different opportunity. We are a 40 point favorite over Florida A&M but the Arkansas State line figures to be somewhere between -12 and -20, depending on the outcomes this week. Probably somewhere in the middle of that range.

The money line correlation is not linear. We would be 1/80 or higher straight up against Florida A&M. But with a low to mid teens double digit line at home Arkansas State's theoretical chance is something like 1 in 6 in man to man terms. Money line will be something like -700/+500. Or more of a cut. Some joints take very high juice on money lines in that range.

BTW, I was going to guess 40 point favorite against Florida A&M but while making this post I decided to check 5Dimes. It's exactly -40.
 
Good chance we lose to Arky St. They were a bowl-winning team last year, and Golden can't beat any team with a pulse.
 
We could​ lose to Ark St but it's pretty unlikely. They are a bowl team so I can definitely see them giving us a game.

In addition to Losses to Auburn, Missouri and Memphis, Arkansas State lost to The Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns and The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers last year. I think we will be ok.

The difference will be the run game. Regardless of the atrocity we witnessed against UL, we will be able to run on FAMU and likely Ark. St.

So to answer you're question: No chance we lose to FAMU. Unlikely that we lose to Ark. St. but possible.
 
Just the fact that losing to Arkansas State is being seriously debated means that Golden should be fired immediately. Right now.
 
We'll win both games easily and honestly any fan that wishes the team to lose is not a fan. I'm tired of this coaching staff as well but to wish the team loses is stupid.

Ark State has some talent and is a better coached program than Miami.

All they have to do is stack 8-9 in the box while blitzing Kaka and they will shut this offense down pretty handidly.

Our defense will do well against them, unless they throw in the middle of the field...or run off tackle. If they do that...watch out!
 
Both FAMU and Arkansas State are expected to win. They may not have better Athletes, but they have a much better coaching staff.

Either team beats UM, the whole staff should be pistol whipped and their lockers cleared out before they can even get back to the dressing room

Nope they will put all the all stars in like chad and they will create havoc, dont worry they will not play them again until we play another scrub team
