Antijuan was offered last week (May 8, 2026) and the offer was retweeted by Tucker so likely a recruitment to monitor. Rivals has him as the #5 overall recruit in the 2028 cycle (247 is dragging down his composite). Michigan considers him a must get recruit in the next cycle and he's been picking up offers from everyone.

The No. 1 ranked offensive tackle in the Rivals300 for the 2028 class in Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech’s Antijuan Wilkes Jr. is working towards big goals down the road.

Even if they’re not all realistic.

“I wanna win the Heisman if I could,” Wilkes laughed.

A couple Ohio State offensive linemen in the past have gotten close. John Hicks finished second in 1973. The great Orlando Pace finished fourth in 1996. Wilkes might have chuckled but he’s still going after that famous trophy handed out in New York every year.

Several scholarship opportunities are catching Wilkes eye heading into the season and he looks forward to attending games during the fall to learn more about these schools and programs.

“Miami, Ohio State, Alabama, Missouri, Georgia, Florida,” were the teams Wilkes highlighted.

The Hurricanes trajectory as a football team coming off an appearance in the National Title game, and Mario Cristobal’s track record with developing outstanding offensive linemen speaks to Wilkes.

“The level of coaching,” he highlighted regarding the Hurricanes.
