you still keep him its too good of recruiting to not, cause u risk if you fire him and the next HC cant recruit it falls apart. Even if the new coach wins at a high level like 1 natty lets say, the roster and future to sustain it falls apart

I’m not saying he’s doing a bad job at all, it’s just that Oregon is starved for a national championship they’re expecting to win one soon with all the money Phil Knight is spending b4 he croaks, let’s see how patient he is with Lanning

Yep, this could be a Dallas Wilson type. Don't really see a kid from Mobile sticking with them.

Everyone forgets they just had a kid flip who dove in a pool with lanning. Oregon is recruiting well but I wouldn’t be shocked if this kid winds up in sec

Oregon pays throughout the year to keep em committed.they did this with Dallas. Kind of effed up of him to flip but he doesn’t have a lot of guidance in his life. Sucks he’s a **** now.

We aren’t playing the same game…

They would win if their weren’t other power doing better. Way more competitive now at the top in terms of recruiting

All I can say is we better be hitting paydirt on our 2024 and 2025 DEs to hide the hole we've burned into roster distribution. Maybe we can find some young guys in the portal like we did at DB? And we better go after 2027 like they're a Mario/Mirabal OL class.
