Anthony Richardson slips to the second pick...

He did the lords work but didn’t he get fired after that??

Anyone drafting him before the 7th round is trying to pretend they’re the smartest/look at me person in the league….
Think Josh McDaniels drafting Tebow in the first round with Denver.
he wasnt fired bc of vick. he just never won a ring but had consistent success. both parties need to break and move on. reid won a SB after and turned around KC and philly got their ring

He makes sense for a team like Detroit or Seattle. Teams with great draft capital and a current solid veteran QB currently where they can develop him in a backup/situational role. Seems semi low risk-high reward scenario to roll the dice on at the proper draft slot.

Andy Reid made Michael Vick a 63 - 64 % passer. Before Andy he was awful. One of the most inaccurate starting qb’s ever. He was completing in the 50’s lol. He wasn’t Tebow bad but he was pretty bad. He just had a big arm and great legs. I’d definitely take a shot on him in the late 2 or 3rd. He’s still very raw, he hasn’t played many snaps.

He’s worth a flyer, but in my opinion not that high of a round. But I don’t do this for a living so what do I know. If it was me fifth round or later.

A real guru like Andy Reid could do work with this guy. It’s all about who drafts him. Him leaving makes more sense than people think. He likely falls to a team that’s not god awful and doesn’t need him to play asap. No pressure of being the savior. In 3-4 years after developing you could have something. Plenty of raw talent there.

You think so? He’s not a good passer at all. I don’t see him getting drafted

He's got an absolute howitzer for an arm and he's built like a linebacker with legit speed.

Right this second, he's one of the 5 fastest QBs in the league and has one of the 5 strongest arms. That's what I mean by unreal potential. You can't teach that, and very few humans on the planet have that type of ability. That's what potential is. But clearly he needs to become much better as a passer. And he might never be able to. Hence the reason he's a gigantic risk/reward pick. But to say he's going to be drafted in the 5th round is beyond laughable.

You think he goes before that? He’s a great athlete but he’s not a good football player at the moment. Dude can run but he doesn’t know when to run. He has a strong arm but lacks accuracy. I wouldn’t use a 5th rounder on that. I can find a good WR or OL in the 5th.

He’s a udfa. The kid can’t pass and lacks awareness

You can say that, and you may be right.

But let's not forget, he's going to have a Combine plus a Pro Day to make an impression. And there is always the draft-day-storyline of "my coaches at X College sucked".

You only need one dopey team to reach. And that team is often the Raiders.

It’s a QB starved league and he’s got skills you can’t teach. Trevor Siemian and Nate Peterman and John Walford and dudes like that are starting games in the league. NFL GMs always think they’re the smartest dudes in the world. Someone will absolutely jump at a 6’4 kid weighing 240 and running 4.4 with that arm. Absolutely. If he didn’t play in sheep ****** land, the narrative would be far different here. Take the fan boy glasses off for a minute. He’s gonna get picked plenty high enough.

I’ve been an eagles fan since the 80’s and absolutely loved when we got Reid. He was an absolute beast. The greatest qb guru I’ve ever seen. He’d take backups and make them look good and trade them for a first or second round pick. That said it was time for him to go and I hated to see it. It wasn’t anything toxic or bad feelings it was time to go our separate ways. I still pull for him in KC and was thrilled he got the ring. When he drafted Mahomes I told people “ watch what he does with this guy and his talent“. It just happened faster than I thought.

agreed.

Going forward everyone will look at what happened with Josh Allen and try to replicate it. Allen wasnt accurate but the tools were there. Richardson has the tools and someone will take a chance on him, and will probably take him earlier than they should.

He's a Great Coach....

Well I doubt the Mets want him, and he never sniffed the Hiesman so those Nissan commercials are out. Guess he'll have to resort to sucking **** behind a 7-11 dumpster for $, even though Tebow was just doing it for fun.

Filthy, but accurate...
