One unconfirmed rumor contradicts another. Not sure that means anything is wrong with the young man. If anything, it may mean he is uncommitted. Oh wait...

that's the key. i doubt all aspects of it, the kid is still making up his mind.
 
I thought he wasn't "trying to go to college and get loss in the system".

Did UF's depth chart suddenly become more appealing to him within the last few weeks?
 
This kid is weird. Im shocked UF even wants him back after his comments. Its not like buddy is a super duper stud. Also, his actions are very "Un-STA like". These kids are usually low key, straight forward, and not wishy-washy. Moten is the first STA kid i can remember in a long time that is handling his recruitment like this.

like i said before, the whole 'uf doesn't want him' talk was bull****. he does and has had an offer. but he is not one that coaches are gonna wait on as there are a few guys above him who the coaches will absolutely wait on.

my guess is he decomitted from uf fearing he'd 'get lost in the system' aka not get immediate playing time thinking he was going to get it at USCe, fsu, or miami. but neither of those three are waiting on him either. it seems golden is hitting that position hard through the juco ranks to supplement the guys you're still recruiting and he sees that. oh well, gotta earn it wherever you go.
 
SO the ohio state asterisk site points out that he played with an asterisk commit. Then the uf site says he's trending back to uf. :mmkay:


Here's an update from SFbay: "Moten is coming to the realization that the University of Miami will compete for the national championship during his 4-5 years in college. It's making him realize that selling out on your home market may not be the best thing to do at this moment in history..."

Here is another reality...

NO DT's coming out of highschool are going to get any real playing time at UF, FSU or USC as a freshman. They are just way too deep... That the truth!!!

The only place he can potentially get early PT is at Miami for the moment as 2 seniors are vacating and no ne else has dominated. He'll have to compete against mostly JR's and no Sophmores as we took NO DT's last year... Sounds like the place he should be!

And that continues into his second year of college. I was never high on the kid and when i first saw him on campus he doesn't look like a DE. He has a gut and is just a tall big kid. I hope he proves me wrong but I think he is a JAG.
